Explanation of the Path of Seeing Explanation of the Path of Seeing Now, the Path of Seeing will be discussed. Therefore, by the power of the Buddha, Buddhas appear in each of the ten directions to all kinds of deities, and the Buddhas of the Good Aeon, such as the noble Maitreya, are thought to perfectly teach this profound Prajñāpāramitā without omission. It should be known that the Path of Seeing has no other moments except for the sixteen moments, because it is necessary to have a witness. Among them, the reason why past Buddhas are not taken as examples is to understand the ultimate union of their teachings. Mentioning the future is to show its necessity for the benefit of future sentient beings. The reason for determining the number as a thousand is that only a thousand Buddhas appear in the Good Aeon in the Sahā world, so others can also be accomplished by skillful means, and to understand that there is no obstruction. What are the moments of the Path of Seeing? Therefore, In solitude, such as suffering, Forbearance and knowledge of Dharma and subsequent knowledge, This accumulation of moments, Is the Path of Seeing in the way of all-knowing. Thus it is said. Among them, the forbearance of knowledge of Dharma of suffering is this: starting from "What is form, is it permanent or impermanent, this Dharma will be taught," up to "The nature of all-knowing is past, future, or present, this Dharma will not be taught." This is to prevent the inverted clinging to the aspect that is incompatible with the antidote. The knowledge of Dharma of suffering is: starting from "What is form, is it pure, the Dharma of purity will be taught," up to "the nature of all-knowing," purity is taught. Because there are no two kinds of conceptualizations as mentioned above, and it is allowed to teach the Dharma of purity without inversion. The subsequent knowledge of suffering is: because from Subhūti's form, etc., up to the nature of all-knowing, it is completely pure. Prajñāpāramitā

It is taught that reaching the other shore is completely pure. What is knowing suffering? It refers to form, etc., which are unborn, unceasing, without defilement, and without purification, because they are completely pure. It is taught as such. What is the forbearance of knowing the origin? It refers to those aspects being completely pure, like the example of the sky being completely pure. It is taught as such. What is knowing the dharma of the origin? It refers to the fact that those aspects are not tainted in that way. It is taught as such. What is the forbearance of knowing the origin? It refers to the fact that those aspects are not graspable in that way. What is knowing the origin? It refers to the example of a reflection, because those aspects have no terms, so here the aspect of terms is blocked by meaning. It is taught as such. What is the forbearance of knowing the dharma of cessation? It refers to the fact that because the sky is inexpressible, so are the aspects inexpressible. Here, again, because the transmission of others is proclaimed, the realization of its meaning by others is blocked. Knowing the dharma of cessation refers to indicating that aspects are not observed in that way. What is the subsequent knowledge of cessation? It refers to the fact that because all dharmas are extremely pure, the aspects of unobserved unborn, unceasing, undefiled, and unpurified are the perfection of wisdom being pure. It is taught as such. What is knowing cessation? It refers to the fact that if one holds it, keeps it, recites it, and properly attends to it, then diseases, etc., will not occur, and the gods will follow it, and in the place where it is proclaimed, a great assembly of gods will gather for three days, and the merit of the one who teaches the dharma will increase. Only three dharmas are mentioned, and the gods making offerings, watching, and gathering to it refers to the meaning of knowing. It is taught as such. What is the forbearance of knowing the dharma of the path? It refers to the fact that by the power of knowing all the jewels of the perfection of wisdom, all sins will be pacified, and because it is the reason for knowing the direction of purification, it is called a jewel because it brings joy. It is taught as such. What is knowing the dharma of the path? It also refers to knowing the path.
