This shows that the reason for not producing aggregates is precisely because of being skilled in the means of non-objectification just mentioned. After explaining the nature of great abandonment, the nature of great realization is mastered. Moreover, starting from "Venerable Subhuti generated joy," the mind of Bodhi is the non-clinging mind of inequality and equality, and non-commonality. Why? Because that mind is mindless, does not belong to the category of non-outflow, is liberated from birth and so on, and is the characteristic of inequality and equality, and non-commonality. As it is said in the sutra: "Shariputra, endowed with life, from the moment a Bodhisattva Mahasattva first generates the mind, he does not truly see the arising or ceasing of any dharma." And so on, therefore, the unequal and equal mind of the Bodhisattva, the non-common mind with all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, is what is said. From the moment of first generating the mind, one does not truly see the arising or ceasing of any imputed dharma, which refers to the stage of heat, in which the arising and ceasing are not objectified in the previous and subsequent stages. There is no increase and no decrease, which refers to the stage of the peak, in which the exhaustion and differential progression of the previous and subsequent stages are not objectified. There is no coming and no going, which refers to the stage of patience, in which the nearness and distance of the dharma of realization are not objectified. It is not completely defiled, and it is not completely purified, which refers to the highest stage of worldly dharma, in which the object of all aspects of incompatibility and counteracting factors is objectified. Where one does not truly see complete defilement and complete purification, that is the path of seeing. The reverse order is to clearly show the path of seeing, because it is to manifest what is seen. Among them, there is no Shravaka's mind, and there is no Pratyekabuddha's mind, which is to clearly show that the generation of the mind is unequal and equal.

It is said: Venerable Subhuti, starting from "There is no true attachment to form," taking emptiness by its very nature as the object of focus, and vowing to have no attachment to all dharmas, is for the purpose of knowing the realm of realization. Venerable Subhuti, starting from "Formlessness also has no attachment to form," up to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, vowing to have no attachment to the unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and preventing the arrogance of clinging to that mind, is because the yoga of non-objectification prevents attachment to realization. Because it is realization itself, it must be abandoned. Because realization is extremely superior, it is a great multitude of sentient beings. The characteristic of becoming the most excellent of the great class of sentient beings is for the purpose of making the unvictorious victorious and for the purpose of accomplishing harmonious matters. By showing these, it should be known that the Bodhisattva is extremely superior. What is the difference between the object of focus and the purpose? The object of focus arises immediately at that time, while the purpose for sentient beings arises later. The dharma that establishes emptiness is the object of focus. What is long-lasting later is the purpose. The object of focus and the purpose are like an arrow combined with a quiver, and are in accordance with the target and so on, and the dharma. The Explanation of the Chapter on Purpose from the Treatise on the Perfection of Wisdom, the Ornament of Clear Realization, the Quintessential Instructions. Explanation of the Chapter on Purpose.
