The Method of Subduing Spirits. The Method of Subduing Spirits. In Sanskrit: Bhuta Damara Sadhanopayika. In Tibetan: The Method of Subduing Spirits, with Branches. Homage to the Glorious Subduer of Spirits! Subduing the pride of all spirits, I pay homage to the wrathful subduer, As the instructions arise, I will explain that very method of practice. Briefly, first, from two objects, one should visualize a mandala of the moon. In its center, visualize the letter Hūṃ, encircled by a garland of flames. This mantra should be recited: Oṃ Siddhi Vajra Hūṃ. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སིདྡྷི་བཛྲ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ siddhi vajra hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Accomplishment, Vajra, Hūṃ.) By reciting this mantra, the fingers are intertwined, and the two index fingers are vigorously moved like needles. One should visualize a mandala of the moon in the heart. In that (moon mandala), visualize a letter with a red bindu, completely encircled by a garland of flames. This wrathful mantra, which destroys all sins, should be recited: Oṃ Hana Vidhvana Saya Bhidhrana Shaya Nashaya Nashaya Pāpaṃ Hūṃ Phaṭ. One should visualize that the rays of light from those (mantra and mudra) are well urged and summoned by the power of space, and that many forms of the wrathful one are completely absorbed into that (moon mandala). Then, one should visualize a blazing five-pronged vajra, possessing many rays of light, completely encircled by a garland of flames, arising from the manifest increase of the accumulation of merit and wisdom. One should visualize that from that vajra emanate many wheels and so forth, spreading in the ten directions, performing magical displays and so forth for the benefit of all sentient beings. 应当思维进入其中。嗡 班杂 诸星 诸星 贝 吽。（藏文：ཨོཾ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཞུགས་ཤིང་ཞུགས་ལ་བོབ་ཅིག་ཧཱུཾ།，梵文天城体：ॐ वज्र जुक्षिंग जुक्षला बोव चिक हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ vajra jukṣiṃ jukṣala bova cik hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡，金刚，进入，进入，贝，吽）然后应当观自身为大忿怒尊之身，具有猛烈燃烧之火焰鬘所周遍缠绕之光辉，四臂，大忿怒尊之光芒，与因陀罗青相似，右以金刚杵高举，左作忿怒印。面容獠牙紧咬，以八龙王而庄严，无边为梵天之线，财增为下裙，海螺守护为手镯等，彼等皆为白色。左手则有种姓具足之手镯，颜色为红色。喜与近喜二者为耳环，颈间为塔夏嘎，头饰等为其他，彼等皆为黄色。莲花与大莲花红色为脚镯，黑色之乔布为头之颅骨，具有颅骨鬘之头饰，亦令三界毁灭，具有怖畏之大笑声，加持三界，右屈曲足善安住，以他者不能胜之足压制，具有百千日之光辉，以手印束缚而安住，双小指相合，双食指弯曲，拇指与中指亦然，以拇指压制之。以此殊胜手印，成就三界之王位。然后以忿怒尊之主宰，忿怒尊之国王之咒语与手印，于六处肢节进行安置。双手互握拳，两中指伸直，此为头之手印。咒语是：嗡 哈纳 班杂 吽。（藏文：ཨོཾ་ཧ་ན་བཛྲ་ཧཱུཾ།，梵文天城体：ॐ हन वज्र हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ hana vajra hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡，摧毁，金刚，吽）此手印中，两中指内屈，两食指竖立，此为顶髻之手印。咒语是：嗡 达哈 班杂 吽。（藏文：ཨོཾ་ད་ཧ་བཛྲ་ཧཱུཾ།，梵文天城体：ॐ दह वज्र हूँ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ daha vajra hūṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡，燃烧，金刚，吽）此手印中，两拇指相并，右拇指置于右眼，左拇指置于左眼。嗡 光明

One should contemplate entering into it. Om Vajra Jukshing Jukshala Bova Chik Hum. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་རྡོ་རྗེ་ཞུགས་ཤིང་ཞུགས་ལ་བོབ་ཅིག་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र जुक्षिंग जुक्षला बोव चिक हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra jukṣiṃ jukṣala bova cik hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra, Enter, Enter, Bay, Hum) Then one should view oneself as the body of the Great Wrathful One, endowed with the splendor of a fiercely burning garland of flames completely enveloping it, four-armed, the radiance of the Great Wrathful One, resembling Indra's blue, the right hand raising the vajra, the left hand making the threatening gesture. The face with fangs bared, adorned with the eight nagas, boundless as the Brahma thread, wealth increasing as the lower garment, conch-guarding as bracelets and others, all of them white. On the left hand is a bracelet of noble lineage, its color red. Joy and Near Joy are the earrings, on the neck is the ta-sha-ka, the head ornaments and others, all of them yellow. Lotus and Great Lotus, red, are the anklets, black Jobo is the skull of the head, possessing a headdress of a garland of skulls, also causing the destruction of the three worlds, possessing a terrifying great laughter, blessing the three worlds, the right foot bent and well-placed, suppressing with the foot that cannot be overcome by others, possessing the splendor of a billion suns, abiding bound by the mudra, the two little fingers joined, the two index fingers bent, the thumb and middle finger also, suppressed by the thumbs. With this supreme and glorious mudra, accomplish the kingdom of the three worlds. Then, with the mantra and mudra of the lord of the wrathful ones, the king of the wrathful ones, one should arrange the six limbs. Both hands holding fists, the two middle fingers well extended, this is the head mudra. The mantra is: Om Hana Vajra Hum.
