One should contemplate oneself as emptiness. Like the moon in water. In this way, accumulate the accumulation of wisdom. Accumulating the two accumulations purifies the two obscurations. This is the necessity of the arising stage. Then, according to each individual's practice method. Clearly generate the deity of the arising stage. There are two ways to meditate on the arising stage: those with realization and those with lesser realization. Those with realization should meditate in this way: The deity that is generated is like a rainbow in the sky. Meditate on it as clear but without inherent existence. Like the moon appearing in water. Meditate on it as appearing but without inherent existence. Those with lesser realization should meditate in this way: contemplate it as an existing form, like a relief or a painting. Meditate on it as clear as before. Having meditated on the arising stage in this way, there are two ways to recite: ultimate truth and conventional truth. The ultimate truth recitation is as follows: like the arising stage of those with realization. Having meditated clearly without distraction, completely abandoning the object and the subject, having blocked all thoughts, sound arises from the empty sky, and that sound is also without inherent existence. It is the self-sound of the nature of reality. By reciting the four activities of conventional truth, the peaceful recitation is as follows: reciting the mantra, the rays of light of the mantra, like sunlight, radiate in ten directions. Touching all beings, pacifying the harmful thoughts of all, generating altruistic thoughts and loving-kindness, and abiding in the practitioner himself. The increasing recitation is as follows: the light of the mantra is like sunlight, bent within a range of about one fathom. Touching one's own body, contemplate the increase of life and merit. The subjugating recitation is as follows: the light of the mantra is like an iron hook, radiating in ten directions and hooking all. Contemplate them bowing with folded hands, asking the practitioner what to do. The wrathful recitation is as follows: the light of the mantra is like a flame, radiating in all ten directions. Burning all the obstructing forces that harm oneself. With a terrible, loud voice, contemplate them asking the practitioner for refuge. This is how to create a session break: throw the torma into the wisdom sky. Offer it with your mind, and contemplate the blessings returning. With the sound of cymbals, pray to the supreme wisdom Protector, please grant great accomplishments. Then return.

Again, I request you to come. There are two kinds of treatises to be composed: Being excellent from the sound and measure, Not contradicting the scriptures, establishing that meaning. Quoting from sutras, tantras, scriptures, and treatises, Then, relying on it, and not contradicting it, Therefore, some should also be composed. Composing treatises with the six doors is: Seeing the face of the yidam deity, And being granted blessings by it, Obtaining mastery over all siddhis, Quoting from sutras, tantras, scriptures, and treatises, Relying on it, and not contradicting it, Therefore, it should be composed. Even in the teachings of the Sugatas, The generation stage is not clearly shown, If the generation stage is not clear, The meanings will not be accomplished, If that generation is clearly shown, A person with corrupt wisdom, Entering without a teacher, Will only destroy himself. Or at that time, the retinues, By the blessings of the Sugata, That is only a prayer. After the Sugata's nirvana, Sentient beings with little wisdom increase, It is prophesied in the sutras: Now after nirvana, Sentient beings with little wisdom decrease, Considering that point, the Sugata said: A person similar to me, Should explain my teachings. As it appears in such scriptures, One who possesses the characteristics composes treatises. After one who does not possess the characteristics composes, Everything is not understood, Explaining that meaning as something else, Will experience great suffering. The Great Teacher Ratnakirti's "Clarifying the Work of All Sadhanas" is complete. Named "The Work of All Sadhanas," Ratnakirti.
