The practitioner who desires to be liberated from the demonic influence of the nāgas should possess vows. Draw the mandala as before. Purify the vase of the main deity with the mantra of all actions, and place it in the center of the mandala. Then, make images of the eight great nāga kings from tsampa, four fingers high, with hands clasped, and color them with paints. Place them in their respective positions facing the vase. Then, in the directional corners of the mandala, place eight black snakes, eight red lizards, eight yellow frogs, eight blue scorpions, eight green fish, eight red newts, eight black bears, eight white birds, eight red bulls, eight blue crocodiles, eight white goats, eight blue otters, eight brown horses. At the four doors, a gray tiger in the east, a lion-headed figure in the south, a bull-headed figure in the west, and a cat-headed figure in the north, corresponding to the colors of their respective directions. Nagas, heed my command! If you do not heed my command, this vajra of the Vajra Holder will ignite the hearts of the Nagas, and their heads and bodies will be burned by sand. Therefore, heed my command! Hūṃ, in order to dispel malicious diseases, offerings are made to the Naga kings. Offer nectar of Naga essence (ནཱ་ག་གེ་སར，nāga ge sar，naga kesara，essence of naga). Offer nectar of Naga flower (ནཱ་ག་པུས་པ，nāga pus pa，naga puspa，flower of naga). Offer nectar of ocean foam (རྒྱ་མཚོ་ལྦུ་བ，rgya mtsho lbu ba，samudra budbuda，foam of ocean). Offer nectar of musk (གླ་གོར，gla gor，kasturi，musk) yogurt. Offer nectar of kidney yogurt. Offer nectar of heart yogurt. Offer nectar of coral (པུ་ཤེལ་ཙེ，pu shel tse，pravāla，coral). Offer nectar of Kantakari (ཀཎྜ་ཀ་རི，kaN Da ka ri，kaṇṭakārī，kantakari). Offer nectar of a bre of speckled beans (མཁལ་སྲན，mkhal sran，māṣa，beans). Offer nectar of white calamus (ཅུ་གང་དཀར་པོ，cu gang dkar po，vaca，calamus). Offer nectar of saffron (གུར་ཀུམ，gur kum，kunkuma，saffron). Offer nectar of milk (འོ་མ，o ma，dugdha，milk).
