Seeing is seeing. Like a crow flying on a boat, Circling around and returning to the same spot. Even if the traces shown by the mind of desire are cut off, The original mind itself falls into its natural state. Not moved by conditions, despairing of hope, The shell of doubt is shattered, Vajra Mind. The mind whose root is severed is like the sky. Since there is nothing to meditate on, do not focus on it. In the ordinary consciousness, in its own natural state, Do not defile it with artificial objects. There is no need to fabricate the naturally pure mind. Do not grasp, do not abandon, rest in self-enjoyment. If you have not realized it, there is nothing to meditate on in the mind. For those who have realized it, there is no meditator or meditation. Just as the sky does not focus on the sky, Likewise, emptiness does not meditate on emptiness. The non-dual consciousness, like water and milk, Various tastes are one, great bliss is continuous. Thus, in all aspects of the three times, Without mental activity, inseparable from the natural state. Guarding that is called meditation, it is just a nominal designation. The wind cannot be grasped, the mind cannot be bound, Rest in the unfabricated consciousness, like a young child. If thoughts arise, look at them themselves. Do not perceive water and waves as two different things. In the Great Seal of non-mentation, There is not a speck to meditate on, so do not meditate. The meaning of non-meditation and inseparable meditation is the supreme meditation. The taste of non-dual coemergent great bliss. Like water poured into water, the taste is one. When abiding in that state as it is, The mind of grasping at objects will be completely pacified. Alas! In that yoga of non-dual naturalness, What is there to abandon or adopt? Since I have not abandoned all dharmas, I do not say, "My son, you should do this." Just as a jewel is unreal, The conduct of yoga is also unreal. No matter what kind of fabricated nonsense is spoken, The yogic mind does not go beyond one. In oneness, there is not even one, Therefore, various forms are cut off from the root. Like a madman, in reckless abandon, The action of non-action abides like a young child. Ema! Like a lotus born from the mud of existence, What fault can stain what? In the joy of eating, drinking, and giving two, If the body and mind are extremely tormented, In whatever form, wherever you act, Who

Unbound, unfreed, without garments, then, When the self-functioning of realization is unheeded, And the suffering of deluded beings is manifest, Tears flow from the force of unbearable compassion. Exchanging self and other, one engages in benefiting others, If one examines the meaning, it is free from three aims, Not truly real, like a dream, like an illusion, Free from attachment and obstruction, difficult and unborn. The magician is like one who performs magic, Primordially pure, like the nature of space, There is nothing to abandon or attain. The great seal, without action in the mind, Do not hope for any result. The mind of hope is unborn from the beginning, What is there to abandon or attain? If there is something to attain, What is the use of the four seals of the teachings? Just as a deer, tormented by delusion, Runs after the mirage of water, Whoever is tormented by desire, No matter how hard they try, they only get further away. Since it is primordially unborn and naturally pure, There is not the slightest difference from that. The imputed mind is purified in the expanse, That is merely labeled Vajradhara. Just as the mirage of a dry plain, Appears as water, but water is not two, Having endured, the imputed mind is purified, That is neither eternal nor nihilistic. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel, like a wish-granting tree, By the power of aspiration, all hopes are fulfilled. That is also worldly, conventional language, In the ultimate sense, it is of no meaning at all. The Doha Treasury, the essential instructions on the Great Seal, composed by the great glorious hermit Saraha, is complete. Translated by the Indian Abbot Shri Vairochana Rakshita.
