梵语:Nāma Saṃgīti Vṛtti Nāma Artha Prasaka Kāraṇa Dīpa Nāma。

For those of superior faculties, explaining the name of this deity who possesses the nature of the Sutra lineage. For those of superior faculties, explaining the name of this deity who possesses the nature of the Sutra lineage. In Sanskrit: Nāma Saṃgīti Vṛtti Nāma Artha Prasaka Kāraṇa Dīpa Nāma. (Commentary on the Names, called the Lamp that Clarifies the Meaning of the Names). Homage to youthful Mañjuśrī! Possessing a profound and vast body, I pay homage to Mañjuśrī, So that fortunate yogis may understand the revered Name Praise, Relying on the spoken tantras and instructions, I will explain with diligence. Opening the door to five modes of explanation, Summarizing all categories into six, Explaining together with benefits and virtues. Here, the yogi who wishes to understand how the name of Mañjuśrī, the wisdom hero, is, transforms into three types of faculties: superior, middling, and inferior. For those of superior faculties, the name of this deity who possesses the nature of the Sutra lineage will be explained. For those of middling faculties, the distinction between the beginning and end of the text will be shown. For those of inferior faculties, each letter will be shown one by one. Among these, explaining in the manner of questions and answers, and explaining in the manner of three summaries, should be combined in the context of the meaning. Among these, what is said beginning with those of superior faculties, is to show the nature of the tantra for the sake of the meaning of those who understand, which is shown by "The Noble True Name of Mañjuśrī." Among these, "Noble" is of two types: noble from the aspect of the meaning spoken, and noble from the aspect of the words spoken. And how is that? Like a good medicine that is excellent to hold and sweet to taste, The Dharma likewise abides in two, one should know its meaning and words. As it is said. Among these, noble from the aspect of the meaning spoken, is that the revered one himself is superior to the boundary of samsara and the boundary of nirvana, attachment to the two extremes is without obscuration, because from these two, one will surely be liberated from all obscurations, and abide in equality like space. As it is said. Noble from the aspect of the words spoken, is this very vehicle of means, which is superior by four: many means, skillful means, easy means, and swift means. And how is that? Even if the meaning is the same, the distinction is, Many and skillful means, Likewise, easy and swift, The teachings of mantra are especially superior. As it is said.

The abundance of methods lies in showing limitless means of liberation without contradicting the inclinations of the minds of those to be tamed. As it is said: 'Abiding in the path of all renunciations.' It is also skillful in means because it knows the means of liberation even without abandoning afflictions. As it is said: 'The great wise one has great means.' It is also easy in means because it shows the means of liberation while dwelling in desired enjoyments without being tormented by the three doors of asceticism. As it is said: 'The complete enjoyment body is the king of all.' Because those with the lineage of the vehicle of means realize everything as non-dual, they attain enlightenment in this very life, hence it is swift in means. Thus, Manjushri, if divided, has five aspects: the Manjushri of the nature of the cause, the Manjushri of the path of meditation, the Manjushri of the ultimate result, the Manjushri that appears to those whose karmas are purified, and the Manjushri that appears as the nature of form. Among these, the Manjushri of the nature of the cause is the pervasion of the suchness of dharmata in all phenomena of samsara and nirvana. As it is said in this very text: 'Immutable, all-pervading, pervasive, subtle, stainless, devoid of seed.' It is said thus because it is free from the thorns of conceptual thought of characteristics, and if realized, it becomes the glory of all. The Manjushri of the path of meditation includes the generation stage and the completion stage, and all that becomes the dharma of the path. As it is said in this very text: 'Abiding in the path of all renunciations.' In that state, the thorns of realization are abandoned, and a portion is engaged in abandonment, hence it is gentle, and because it brings benefit to oneself and others, it is glorious. The Manjushri of the ultimate result refers to the nature of the three kayas and five wisdoms. As it is said in this very text: 'The supreme first, possessing the three kayas.' Among these, if the three kayas are considered in a common way, then the dharmakaya is unborn like space, from which arises the sambhogakaya, Vairochana, like a cloud, and from that, the nirmanakaya, Shakyamuni, like rain, accomplishes the benefit of beings. If considered in a special way, the luminosity of awareness by its own nature is the sambhogakaya, the appearance of awareness in various forms is the nirmanakaya, and however it appears, its meaning does not go beyond the unborn, which is the dharmakaya. Among these, the five wisdoms are the dharmata without birth or cessation, which is the dharma
