The yogi must possess all empowerments, not violate vows, have unwavering conduct of non-discrimination, be pure and respectful to the lama, gentle, abide solely in the teachings, and possess diligence. Abiding in a great charnel ground, completely making offerings to the Tathagata, etc., contemplate the mantra of self-nature purity, that is, all dharmas are without self. Then, above that which arises from Yaṃ (ཡཾ), from Dhīḥ (དྷཱིཿ，dhīḥ，wisdom) arises Mañjuśrī, this is the cause. On a cloth from a charnel ground, using white glue and flour as a base, mix poison, life-severing grass, salt, neem, intoxicant, leftovers eaten by crows, Vairochana, ashes from the charnel ground, and myrobalan fruit, then smear and stretch it.
