Thinking of oneself as a divine being, that is yoga. Truth is not false, then purity should also be remembered. That which is called "skull by skull" is the nature of the five wisdoms. That which is called "terrifying" is because it causes fear to all demons. That which is called "adorned with skull ornaments" is because it is born from the Dharmadhatu. That which is called "sixteen feet" is the pure aspect of the sixteen emptinesses. That which is naked is the realization that all dharmas are without obscuration. That which is called "the erect penis" is because it has become the nature of great bliss. That which is called "the left foot extended" is because all dharmas are separately pervaded by emptiness. Because of being fierce and wrathful, the belly is large. The hair standing on end shows the state of Nirvana. Having the sound of phetā, it is because it frightens the unruly and so on. The thirty-four hands are the pure aspect of the thirty-four limbs of enlightenment. The three, right effort, right mindfulness, and right concentration, are included in the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the Bhagavan himself. That which is called well-placed is that the three, body, speech, and mind, are without distraction. That which is called constant is in the three times. That which is called the union of suchness is that there is no observation of the object of meditation, the meditator, and the meditation. The hooked knife cuts off ignorance. Bhindi-phala pierces the conceptualization of grasping and holding. The mallet destroys the loss of mindfulness. The water knife cuts off desire. The one-pointed vajra destroys the faults of body, speech, and mind. The axe destroys the solid habits of mind. The spear pierces wrong views. The arrow pierces the pain of extreme delusion. The iron hook is able to summon. The club destroys the accomplishment of karma. Khatvanga is the nature of Bodhicitta. The wheel is the turning of the wheel of Dharma. The vajra is the nature of the five wisdoms that have become one taste. The hammer destroys miserliness. The sword bestows the accomplishments of swords and so on. The cymbal makes the Buddha with the sound of great joy.

It is to stir all the lands. The skull cup filled with blood is because of upholding the vows. The head of the Brahmin is because of the great compassion benefiting sentient beings. The shield is because of completely overcoming the demons. The foot is because of bestowing the rank of the Buddha's body. The hook is to bind to the true wisdom. The bow is to conquer the three realms. The intestines are to separately realize the essence of emptiness. The bell is the nature of the Prajnaparamita. The hand is because of accomplishing all actions. The shroud of the charnel ground is to eliminate the obscurations of ignorance for all dharmas being without self. It is said to be erected on the bright wood because it is to separately realize that all things are established in emptiness. It is said to be the hearth because it shows that all dharmas are luminous. The skull garland is filled with the nectar of compassion. The threatening mudra is to threaten the demons. The three-pointed spear is to realize that the nature of body, speech, and mind are one. The wind banner is to show that all dharmas are illusory. It is said to be the elephant skin, it is the elephant of ignorance. The eight beings such as humans trampled by the right foot are the purity of the eight great accomplishments. The eight trampled by the left foot, the eight such as vultures, are the purity of the eight powers. These nine faces are because of completely maturing sentient beings by teaching the nine branches of the Dharma. The buffalo face is because of the lord of the three realms. The two horns are because of the two truths. The five seals are the nature of the five Tathagatas. Because of offering to the sentient beings of the Buddha, the red face above is bleeding like this. The yellow ninth face is because of showing the incarnation of Manjushri. Adorned with the ornaments of a child, it is because of the form of a youth. Having five locks of hair on the crown of the head is the purity of the five Abhisambodhis. The three eyes are to show the three times. Having looked like that, the self is entrusted to the deity's self. At the time of reciting the mantra, how can the yogi's mind not be weary? Reciting any mantra's letters, one visualizes the mandala in a clockwise direction on the sun disc in one's own heart, and then...

The breath exhaled from the mouth, in the form of emanation, performs the benefit of sentient beings. Again, gather it, and the breath entering from the nostrils fully enters and remains in that very place. Thus, repeatedly and continuously, until not weary, recite with the ritual itself. These are the recitations. If one becomes weary, then offer the torma as in the ritual, and request the wisdom being to depart, and abide in the yoga of the deity. These are the explanations of the fourth chapter of the contemplation of practice from the Vajrabhairava Yoga Tantra. Chapter Four: Explanation of the Contemplation of Meditation.
