The union itself. It is neither true nor false in itself. One should contemplate the form of the deity. Then, purely remember. It is said that skull upon skull is because it is the nature of the five wisdoms. It is said to be greatly terrifying because it causes fear to the demons. It is said to be adorned with the ornament of skulls because it arises from the realm of Dharma. Sixteen feet are because the sixteen emptinesses are completely pure. Nakedness is because it liberates the obscurations of all dharmas themselves. The erect mark is naturally great bliss. In order to separately establish all dharmas as emptiness, it is the step of extending the left. Because it is fierce wrath, the belly is large. The hair standing upright is to show the state of transcendence of suffering. Reciting the sound of "phe" (藏文: ཕེ་, 梵文天城体: फेट, 梵文罗马拟音: phet, 汉语字面意思: 呸) is to make hatred and so on fearful. Thirty-four hands are the complete purification of the thirty-four factors of enlightenment. Right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration. Gathered into the nature of the body, speech, and mind of the Bhagavan himself. By abiding in extreme equanimity, body, speech, and mind are not distracted. Always means in the three times. The union of suchness means that the object of meditation, the subduer, and the meditator are without focus. The curved knife is to cut off ignorance. Bhindi-pala is to separate the discriminating thoughts of grasping and being grasped. The mallet is to destroy the loss of mindfulness. The water knife is to cut off sins. The single-pointed vajra is to destroy the faults of body and speech. The axe is to cut off the hardness of the mind. The spear is to pierce evil views. The arrow is to pierce the thorns of universal discrimination. The iron hook is for summoning. The weapon kata is to destroy the obscurations of karma. Khatvanga is the nature of bodhicitta. The wheel is for turning the wheel of Dharma. The vajra is the nature of the five wisdoms that do not decay. The vajra hammer is to break open stinginess. The sword is to grant the attainments of the sword and so on. With great joy, one urges all the Buddhas.

The letters of the mantra that are recited,

In its heart, visualize a sun disc, rotating clockwise into a circle, accompanied by rays of light. When exhaling, the breath emerges from the doorway, benefiting beings through the union of joy. Then, gather it again, inhaling through the nostrils, and let it abide there. Repeat this again and again, until no weariness arises, reciting with this ritual. Thereafter, if weariness arises, then as in the ritual, offer the torma, and request the wisdom hero to depart, abiding in the yoga of the deity. This is the fourth chapter, the explanation of the contemplation distinctions of Vajrabhairava from the Yoga Tantra. Fourth Chapter: Explanation of the contemplation distinctions.
