Chapter Four: Explanation of the Tantra that Reveals the Mandala of the Hearts of All Tathagatas. Chapter Four: Explanation of the Tantra that Reveals the Mandala of the Hearts of All Tathagatas. Now, immediately after blessing the ground, it is said that one should request the lama who possesses the three samadhis to draw the mandala. Chapter Four is taught starting with "Then." "All the Tathagatas also gather" refers to the disciple who knows the combination of permanence and so on. Body, speech, the lord of mind refers to the hero who dwells in the center of the earth, possessing the pride of "I am equal to all lamas," the vajra-bell holder. To this, with praise as the king of offerings preceding, one prays for the meaning of drawing. That is the meaning. "All Tathagatas are peaceful" means being free from grasping and other elaborations, that is, the body vajra. What is it? It is "All Tathagatas," and so on. "The place of all Tathagatas" means that the dharmadhatu is the source, therefore it is the mind vajra. All dharmas are without self, which shows the absence of self in duality, the speech vajra, which is supreme. By these, the request to explain the sacred mandala is a general request. Request for the mandala of the body: "All characteristics are perfectly complete" means that all characteristics such as the four sides and four doors are complete. "All characteristics without characteristics are abandoned" means abandoning the characteristics that transcend measure and order. Samantabhadra is Vajradhara. Request to explain the mandala of his body. Request for the mandala of speech: "The peaceful dharma truly arises" means that the dharma without self is the pacification of elaboration. The true arising in that is the speech vajra. That itself, all the Tathagatas, is the realm of wisdom, therefore it is said to be purified. The rest is as before. Request for the mandala of the mind: "The great mind of all sentient beings" refers to the mind of the Buddha and all sentient beings. "Naturally pure, without defilement" means that because it is unchanging and perfectly accomplished, it is without the defilement of a charnel ground.

The rest is as mentioned before. Combine this with the immediately following thirteenth (chapter). Now, the compiler asks about the promise to show the mandala of the mind. Starting with "Then" and so on. The demonstrator means showing the meaning of the tantra through the power of wisdom. Vajradhara means that the meaning of the inseparability of cause and effect is Vajra, and it means holding it. The three worlds refer to the nature of the underworld, the surface of the earth, and the heavens. The three realms refer to the nature of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm. The supreme of the three worlds refers to the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas. It is called the Vajra Lord. The three worlds mean the victorious one, like honey, accomplishing all meanings. They are called demonstrators. The abode of all Tathagatas. It means that the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu is the source of all, so it is the immovable mandala. If asked what it is like, the mandala of all Tathagatas, that is, the mandala of wisdom. It is said what it is like. Delightful means that it has rituals and can generate the joy of the beings to be tamed. Now the demonstrator promises to explain the mandala of the mind. Starting with "Then" and so on. The mandala of the mind is supreme, and the mandala of the mind is very similar. As mentioned before. Although it is the mind, because it has three purities, it is called the mandala of body, speech, and mind, and it will be explained. Now the ritual of the line is explained. Starting with "Body" and so on. Body, speech, and mind practice means that the body and so on abide in the Samadhi of one's own deity's mandala, and the eyes perform actions such as drawing and wrapping the line. This has been described in the sixteenth chapter. Therefore, one is wise. Because one is proficient in rituals and has seen much. Because it is straight, it is a thread. Because it is not smeared with anything else, it is new. Because it is free from tangles and is extremely smooth, it is tight. Because the length is twice as long, and the thickness has one-twentieth of the door, the measure is beautiful. Now the characteristics and differences of the line are explained. Starting with "Of the mind" and so on.
