Fourth, an explanation of the stages of manifest enlightenment. Fourth, an explanation of the stages of manifest enlightenment. Since focusing on the illusory body precedes it, it is entering into the clear light. Therefore, in order to show this, it is said that prostrating to the Bhagavan (bhagavan, Blessed One) should precede it. Such as Vajrasattva and so on. The phrase "all emptiness" means that it shows the clear light of all emptiness, so it is said to show all emptiness. The term "stages of manifest enlightenment" means that it is the emptiness of manifest enlightenment because it is truly and directly realized in all aspects. The stages of realizing it are the stages of manifest enlightenment. The phrase "appearances should be generated" refers to the nature of the three wisdoms, which are the three joys. As stated in the stages of purifying the mind: "The nature of desire and detachment, the interval between the two is the third.". The kalasha and so on should be placed properly. The term "bodhicitta" means that for the purpose of secret empowerment, the skull cup and so on containing the seed of bodhicitta should be placed on top of the vase. The phrase "empower with compassion at midnight" means that from midnight onwards, empowerment should be given with rosaries and water etc. for up to seven hours. At midnight, the meaning is that the secret wisdom empowerment should be given. The phrase "also at dawn" refers to the remaining time of the night. The term "aggregates" refers to the five aspects from form onwards up to consciousness. The term "realms" refers to the eighteen realms from the eye-gate etc. up to the dharma-realm. The term "sources" refers to the twelve sources from the eye-source etc. up to the dharma-source. The phrase "then begin this sequence" means in this way, according to the sequence that will be explained below. The sequence is the sequence of manifest enlightenment. The phrase "should begin" is the remainder. The phrase "beginningless arising" means that it is beginningless because of the scriptural authority of "the dharmata of dharmas abides in these". Alternatively, the term "arising at the beginning" means that it is the very nature of the beginning because it pervades everything. Similarly, the words "arising in the middle" and so on should be understood.

It should be so. Furthermore, "arising without beginning," etc., is because it is different from the illusory body. The initial arising is because it is different from the sound union. Or "arising not in the middle" is because it is different from the illusory body. "Arising without end" is because it is earlier than union. "The final arising ones" is because it arises later than the illusory body. Above, "going upwards and without coming," etc., for the one who is initially unborn from the very beginning, it is obvious that it is impossible to establish going and coming, etc. "Extremely rare with form" is because such a nature is also the Dharmakaya. "Not rare" is because "the power of things is various," which is reasonable. The nature of cause and non-cause is the nature of emptiness. It is "the only friend of beings" because it is the nature of compassion. "That is also the complete body" refers to abandoning through the power of realizing emptiness. "Upright" means engaging in benefiting sentient beings, driven by compassion. "Dwelling without a seat" means wandering without a place, because there is no certainty in each place, so there is no certainty in each place. Wherever the wise one dwells bound by a seat, it is showing certainty. Saying "though he closes his eyes" is because of the happiness of experiencing emptiness. "Not victorious" is the difference of joy. "Equanimity" refers to focusing only on emptiness. "Non-equanimity" is because all things are the essence of the nature of emptiness. "Three unspeakable" is because it has reached the ultimate of emptiness. "Having words" means acting for the benefit of sentient beings. "Having enjoyment" means obtaining the wealth of all perfections. "Becoming formless" means not being biased towards the eight worldly dharmas, but acting contrary to them. It is "the protector of the world" because of realizing the body of the Buddhas. "Becoming a servant of others" means that there is nothing in all aspects. "Going and not going," the light of things.
