Because there is no observation. Furthermore, the refutation of self-awareness is "by feeling," and so on. Among them, feeling is what is experienced in self-awareness. Feeling is the meaning of self-awareness, and feeling is the function of cognition. These three arise in dependence on each other, so without the felt, there is no feeling. The meaning is like this: First, if the feeler does not become the felt, it cannot become the felt; similarly, if there is no felt and no function, the feeler will not arise either, because feeling is done to the felt, so it is the feeler. Therefore, why not admit that only the felt and the feeler do not exist? Because in each person's self-aware wisdom, the feeler and the felt do not appear at the same time. If there is no awareness in this way, what should be done with the mind? The so-called "this mind" and so on. Among them, "these minds are just names" means that the mind of consciousness is just a name that is grasped as a characteristic in terminology, because there is no self-nature in ultimate truth. Therefore, if asked where else can be indicated besides the name? It means that all things are just names in terminology, and the nature of everything is only mind. The so-called name refers to what can be expressed. Since the name is also negated, as it is accomplished, then "the name is also without self-nature." It means that eye consciousness and so on only truly see and use their objects, but the names of form and so on do not actually exist. For example: the end of the name is the letter, and the letter is also without self-nature. The so-called vase, when the vase arises, when the name arises, the vase disappears. How can there be self-nature if there is no distinction in this way? In this way, by observing with reason, because there is no entity, the mind is neither inside nor outside. The so-called not inside means that it is not the nature of each person's self-aware wisdom or eye consciousness. It is also not the nature of the six objects of form and so on. The middle means that it cannot be found other than in itself. Therefore, the nature of the mind is like illusion, which is the attainment of the Buddhas. Because the realm of evil, non-virtue, and afflictions has been destroyed, it is the Victor. The so-called not attainment means

Because in the ultimate sense, the mind has no nature anywhere, including externally. Having refuted the nature in this way, it is said that the mind is not any object, such as the so-called color, etc. The "etc." includes food. The mind does not reside in their form, because they are not form. Among them, the nature of the cessation of the six consciousnesses is the mind, which is the basis of the six consciousnesses. This is also what is to be understood about the mind, because mind, nature, and consciousness are said to be of one meaning. Such a mind is also not the object of the Buddhas in the ultimate sense, from "the Buddhas" to "in short," this is summarized from the perspective of nature. The two "not" refer to the present and the future. Why? Because of the so-called absence of nature, etc. Even in the ultimate sense, if the dharma of absence of nature becomes the object of the eye, it is only a name, and its nature is not established. If it is said that only form, etc., are objects, and others are not, then, the so-called object, etc. Among them, the so-called object is discrimination, that is, how the Mind-Only school is completely established, or what is examined by the wisdom of individual self-awareness, that alone is the object, because it possesses the characteristics of the ultimate sense. The so-called non-discrimination means that the Buddha said that whatever dharma is non-discriminating is emptiness. Among them, non-discrimination is beyond existence, non-existence, and the middle way. Emptiness is absence of nature. Therefore, if any discrimination is seen, then, where is emptiness? The Tirthikas, the Sutrantikas, and the Mind-Only school

Is the reason for diminishing. Bodhi is to seek the meaning of Bodhi. Because that view which grasps at those two has not become emptiness, it is said that one who has become conceptual has not seen Bodhi. A commentary on the equality of selflessness of phenomena.
