Fourth, the order of supremely secret bliss manifesting as enlightenment. Nagarjuna. Fourth, the order of supremely secret bliss manifesting as enlightenment. Nagarjuna. Because it shows that everything is emptiness, I prostrate to Vajrasattva. This fourth order of manifesting enlightenment, I shall explain. This is the self-born Bhagavan, the sole self, the great Lord. Because he bestows all the instructions, the Vajra Master is superior to him. He should be truly pleased, either for a year or a month. Please that Lama, and make offerings to him as much as you can. The mudras that are available, having learned them well, should be offered. In the center of the assembly circle, offerings should be made according to the ritual. Then, by enjoying the five desirable qualities, the great yogi becomes pleased. With the ritual of absorption, the Lord of Appearance should be generated. Bodhicitta should be diligently placed in the vase and so on. The Lama, with love for the good disciple, bestows empowerment at midnight. Having properly received the empowerment, also at the time of dawn, the disciple, with palms joined, should please the Lama by offering and praising him. Liberated from the three realms, having become equal to the sky, not stained by desires, I pay homage to you, the one without characteristics. Not relying on the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, liberated from perversion, I pay homage to you, the one without characteristics. Without conceptualization and without complete grasping, the mind not abiding anywhere, the inconceivable mind, I pay homage to you, the one without characteristics. Just as the sky has no abode, without fabrication, without attachment, possessing a mind equal to the sky, I pay homage to you, the one without characteristics. All have the nature of emptiness, contemplate the manifestation of enlightenment. The disciple, with palms joined, praises the Lama and then urges him again. Liberated from karma and birth, abandoning the three appearances, to see the manifestation of enlightenment, Great Protector, I beseech you. The great wisdom of all Buddhas, the abode of all Tathagatas, the unsurpassed Vajra wisdom, Great Master, I beseech you. Without beginning or end, and peaceful, purifying all afflictions, purifying body, speech, and mind.

Homage to the Great Vajradhara! Such are the true qualities, By speaking, the yogis are pleased, Generating compassion for the disciples, From this, this sequence is composed. The part of the night that is light, like the sun spreading its rays, is the growth of light. The boundary is to attain light, going not just once with all of one's own nature. What is neither night nor day, nor boundary, that is completely separate from all natures? That is the moment of enlightenment, as the supreme guru said, the realm of the yogi. The end of the boundary is where the indestructible mass of darkness has completely passed away. Until the sun rises, this moment is said to be the stainless, true end. The supreme teacher, free from dimness, shows the external enlightenment to the disciple. The inner bliss, free from defilement, is attained through the moments of enlightenment of the Buddhas. Whether arising at the end or arising at the beginning, Whether arising not in the middle or arising in the middle, Whether arising not at the edge or arising at the edge, All of these are said by the holy ones to be empty. Where there is no going or coming, No exhaustion or increase, neither real nor unreal, It is wondrous, having form, and not wondrous, Not staying, nor quickly going. That which is free from the terms of existence and non-existence, Not the form of merit, not the form of sin, Not the self of merit and sin, being supreme, That is all emptiness, as the mantras say. The yogi attains suchness in that way, The self of cause and non-cause, the one friend of beings, The nature of wisdom, the lion of men, Having attained the inexhaustible body, the cause of all beings. That is a round body, yet it is straight. Although not staying on a seat, it is staying. Although closing the eyes, it is fully open. Although not in equipoise, it is in equipoise. Although possessing words, it is beyond expression. Although possessing enjoyment, it is free from grasping. Although the protector of the world, it is separate from others. Whoever realizes that nature, and all faults are exhausted.
