Third, the order of blessing myself. Nagarjuna. Third, the order of blessing myself. Nagarjuna. The lord of all vajra holders, I prostrate to the great vajra. I will explain with love the order of blessing myself. First, by following the generation stage, one obtains empowerment, understands the intention of the four tantras, possesses wisdom, and holds the hearing of body, speech, and mind in complete solitude. By particularly believing in the two truths, one makes the vajra master truly happy. After that, one makes the lama happy, makes a great gathering offering, and offers a sixteen-year-old girl to the great vajra master. After that, one obtains the oral instructions of the order of blessing myself from the lama's presence. After that, the rosary, water, complete Buddha, vajra, bell, offering, mirror, name, acharya, and subsequent permission. Having obtained the secret empowerment together with these, one should praise the lama with this praise. Emptiness is not in your body, although there is no flesh, bones, or blood. Like a rainbow in the sky, your body is shown. There is no sickness or impurity in the body, although there is no arising of hunger and thirst. You follow the world, so you show the activities of the world. Like the moon in the water, it cannot be grasped. There is no dwelling in all dharmas. There is no pride and no ignorance. I prostrate to you, who are without object. Going, dwelling, and likewise sleeping, in all conduct, you are always in equipoise. I prostrate to you, who are without object. With the samadhi like an illusion, great in miracles and transformation, entering into equality without variety, I prostrate to you, who are without object. Having praised the vajra master with true praise, one should pray for the sake of hearing this verse. Omniscient, with excellent wisdom, purifying the cycle of existence, with the preciousness spoken today, Lord, please grant me grace. Having abandoned your lotus feet, Lord, there is no other refuge. Hero of beings, great sage, therefore, please make the supreme mind happy. That

Thus, having heard the words of the fearless supplication, Compassion arose for the disciples, And then he began to bless me. This, called the order of my blessing, Is the teaching of the conventional truth, Which is obtained through the kindness of the gurus, And not otherwise. Because whoever has not attained the order of my blessing, His efforts in the sutras, tantras, and concepts Become meaningless. The main essence of obtaining the order of my blessing Is the self-nature of all the Buddhas. In this very life, becoming a Buddha Will undoubtedly be attained. The samadhi of my blessing, And likewise the state of clear light, Are shown as the two truths Through the difference between cause and effect. Through the order of my blessing, The clear light will be attained. Therefore, the vajra master First showed me the blessing. All beings are without freedom, And do not arise independently. The cause of that is clear light, And all clear light is emptiness. With whatever mind children Are bound and tied in samsara, With that very mind, yogis Go to the state of the Sugatas. Here, there is no birth of anything, And there is no death of anything. The self-nature of the mind always abides, And samsara itself should be known. Without the gentleness of the winds, The self-nature of the mind cannot be grasped. The self-nature of the mind becomes the cause, And karma and births arise in all ways. That itself is perfectly endowed with wind, And the three consciousnesses again Arise in the body of the yogi. That is called the illusory body. Therefore, all beings are spoken of here As being like illusions. Abiding in the samadhi of illusion, See everything as being equal to that. Form and the nature of feeling, Conception and formations, The fifth is the nature of consciousness, Likewise, the four elements, The eye and so forth, and the objects themselves, The nature of the five consciousnesses, Dividing them into outer and inner, Everything is not other than illusion. Through the images in a mirror, The illusory body should be known. The various colors are like a rainbow, Spreading like the moon in water. Liberated from the real and unreal, Vajrasattva, well-drawn, On a spotless mirror, Appearance.
