Chapter Thirty-Six: Extensive Explanation of the Questions and Answers Regarding the Nature of the Wind Without Discrimination. Chapter Thirty-Six: Extensive Explanation of the Questions and Answers Regarding the Nature of the Wind Without Discrimination. Thus, Chapter Thirty-Five, the questions and answers regarding the realm of discrimination and cutting off the wind, have been taught. Now, in order to explain the questions and answers regarding the realm of the nature of the formless wind, first, to compose it briefly, it is said, "Then," and so on, which is after explaining Chapter Thirty-Five. "Furthermore" is the same as before. It is related to "The wind without discrimination arises." Non-discrimination is: that which arises from the abandonment of discrimination, that very suchness, arises without discrimination. "Supreme" is because it is the cause of manifesting the supreme, naturally luminous aspect of suchness. If asked, what does it do? Therefore, it is said, "Therefore, whatever," which refers to that non-discriminating suchness. "Knowing" refers to thoroughly realizing through the power of hearing, thinking, and meditating. It is related to "Obtaining the state of Vajrasattva." Vajrasattva is the nature of the stage of union, whose own essence is the characteristic of naturally entering. Obtaining means the meaning of realization. Thus, after showing the composition, now, in order to speak of the actual explanation, its branch, the arising of the wind without discrimination, showing its own essence, it is said, "Without realization," which refers to the nature of the recitation of a hermaphrodite. "Great wind" is because one has found one's own essence. "Second, completely abandoning all" is because it is free from the wind of discrimination. "The self-nature of all things" is because it pervades discrimination and wind. "Free from the state of meditation and non-meditation" is because it has abandoned sitting, dwelling, and rising. "Great wisdom" is because it is the nature of luminosity. "Great yoga" is because it is free from the yoga of the generation stage. "Without example" is because it is free from habitual tendencies.
