The disciple should say: "I beseech you to bestow upon me the wisdom of the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of glorious Mahākāla." Say this three times. The teacher, in the disciple's heart, generates a wheel and sun from the syllable brum (藏文：བྲུཾ་), and upon them generates Mahākāla, etc., thereby bestowing wisdom. Burn incense and stabilize it by reciting the mantra of Mahākāla. Throw flowers at the deities of the mandala, reciting: Om Mahākāla Cakṣu Paṭalam Hrīḥ (藏文：ཨོཾ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཙཀྵུ་པ་ཊ་ལཾ་ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ॐ महाकाल चक्षु पटलम् ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ mahākāla cakṣu paṭalam hrīḥ，汉语字面意思：Om, Mahākāla, Eye, Cover, Hrīḥ). Open the eyes with a golden needle, and reveal the deity, which is entering the mandala. Then, offer gifts for the empowerment, saying: "Vajra Master, please listen! The empowerment of the body, speech, mind, and activities of glorious Mahākāla, I beseech you to grant me." Make this request three times. Then, the Vajra Master, with a clear samādhi of the deity, the vase, crown, vajra, and bell, name, and teacher's empowerment, are the essence of the five Buddha families. Generate them as five Mahākālas and bestow them upon the disciple. Just as at the moment of birth, with the pure water of the deities, like bathing all the Tathāgatas, today I bestow upon you the empowerment of the water of Akṣobhya. The wisdom being departs, the samaya being is absorbed into oneself. Generate the conviction of not seeing other deities, and then discard the colored powders into a river.
