Having thus spoken the mantra of the glorious Heruka with his retinue, now the mantra of the glorious Padmanartesvara with his retinue is spoken. "Om syllable with bindu," and so on, refers to the thirteenth phonetic letter with bindu. "From the center, the central channel," and so on, refers to the letter Sa with Va below it. "From the center, the fourth," and so on, refers to the letter Bha with the second phonetic letter. "From the center, taking the central channel," refers to the letter Ba. "Powerful, outward," refers to the letter Sha with the fifth phonetic letter. "From the north, also the central channel," refers to the letter Da with Ha below it. "In the center, taking the first Sa," refers to the letter Pa. "From the north, the central one," and so on, refers to the letter Da with Ma below it. "From the north, the last one likewise," refers to the letter Na. "Phonetic E," and so on, refers to the letter Ta with Ra above it, with the eleventh phonetic letter. "From the center, the central channel," and so on, refers to the letter Sha with Va below it. "Taking the fire direction petal," refers to the letter Ra. "Wind direction, outward," and so on, refers to the letter Ha situated on the seat of Ra, with the fourth phonetic letter and a tseg-drag (heavy dot).
