To those of inferior mind, especially cherish the Bodhisattva heroes. Thus it is said. To look well with affection and delight means to look with kindness and gentleness, with the intention of benefiting all sentient beings, which is to look with affection and delight. This is good, this is auspicious. To be very familiar with the ways of mantra means to be without hindrance in the oral instructions of the secret mantra path. To be extremely respectful in keeping vows means to conceal what should be concealed. Mudra is the symbolic mudra. The state of non-regression means that regression is inferior. The opposite of that is the state of non-regression, which is to be manifestly delighted in the path of virtue. Non-duality means to be free from doubt. Respectful in practicing the wheel of mantra means that the wheel of mantra is the wheel of the mandala of the deities. Practice is transformation. Respect is being skilled in the order. Empowerment brings qualities through meaning, which means that if one becomes familiar with empowerment, it is a quality, and meaning is to strive and obtain for that meaning. Arising is abiding, which is the empowerment in the order of the lineage of the gurus. Those ten are completely, which means that those ten are the mandala, samadhi, mudra, karana, posture, recitation, fire offering, offering, the combination of activities, and close gathering, which is to be proficient in those activities. To show how to regard the body of the teacher who has become like that, therefore, it is said to pray and so on.

One should strive to rely on the Lama, as it is said. The characteristics of those who should not be Lamas are explained: "Whoever" and so on, where "anger" refers to dwelling on immediate harm, with the mind completely tormented. "Illusion" refers to not concealing sins. "Speech is very harsh" refers to having words that can harm others. "Content with virtues" refers to being arrogant due to lineage and wealth, and not accepting virtues even when seen in those of lower status. Now, the characteristics of disciples are explained: "Others" and so on, where "with anger" refers to being displeased and harboring harm, i.e., not repaying kindness. "Respectful of logic" refers to respecting treatises on valid cognition, or pursuing worldly treatises. "Age is old" refers to the body being old, unable to produce semen. "Bound by attachment and clinging" refers to clinging being extreme stinginess, and bound by attachment refers to not instructing those (teachings). What is it? A priceless jewel, that is, for the reality of that priceless jewel, for that treasure whose value cannot be measured, it is said that way, that is, not giving secret empowerments, etc.
