Fifth, Explanation of Manifest Enlightenment through the Net of Illusion. Fifth, Explanation of Manifest Enlightenment through the Net of Illusion. ༄། །Having thus shown the observation of the six realms, now, in order to show the net of illusion, the words such as "Lord of Speech" are spoken. The Lord of Speech in the past was the Bhagavan. Now it is A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), because it is the life of all. Now, because it arises from the vowels and consonants represented by A, it is the Lord of Speech. Thinking that it might have been spoken in prose or in limping verses, it is said "in verses," meaning it was spoken in verses of seven syllables. Thinking, what is that? It is said, "Possessing the six secret mantra kings." The secret mantras are the six that will be shown below. "King" means that just as a wheel-turning king pervades all and all are united in its essence, so this shows the meaning of both the yoga of the deity generated by this and the yoga of the perfected nature of reality, and because it is gathered here, it is the king. "Possessing six" refers to the numbers such as Vajra Tīkṣṇa (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཏཱི་ཀྵྞ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र तीक्ष्ण, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra tīkṣṇa, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Sharp). Thinking, from what does that arise? It is said, "Arising in non-duality." These mantras should arise or be gathered from the non-duality of skillful means and wisdom. Its meaning is that the five forms of the square part of the earth, and smeared with the characteristics of sandalwood and other fragrances, making it suitable for capturing images. On that, a wise person should write the nature of wisdom, the form of "E" (Tibetan: ཨེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ए, Sanskrit Romanization: e, Chinese literal meaning: E), with a skull cup. There, write the form of skillful means, the essence of "Vaṃ" (Tibetan: ཝཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vam), a circle with nine squares. In the central square, one should write the best of letters, the heart of a variegated lotus with eight petals. In the eastern square, write a lotus with eight petals, and on each of its petals, two limbs should be circled, in order: ཨ་ཨཱ་ཨི་ཨཱི་ཨུ་ཨཱུ་རྀ་རཱྀ་ལྀ་ལཱྀ་ཨེ་ཨཻ་ཨོ་ཨཽ་ཨི་ཨཿ. Thus, place them. In the remaining squares, on a four-petaled lotus with a heart, place in order ཀ་ཁ་ག་གྷ་ང༌། ཙ་ཚ་ཛ་ཛྷ་ཉ། ཊ་ཐ་ཌ་ཌྷ་ཎ། ཏ་ཐ་ད་དྷ་ན། ༄། །པ་ཕ་བ་བྷ་མ། ཡ་ར་ལ་ཝ། ཤ་ཥ་ས་ཧ་. Thus, one should place them. Therefore, one should gather the mantras in three places. That is non-dual.

這是說從“達”字產生六字真言的詞語。或者說,這些是從身體、生命和肢體二者不分中產生的。現在是請教的時候了。為了闡釋所說的“智慧身,即自生”,所以說“不生法性即此所說”。意思是說,智慧身就是“阿(ཨ)”。所謂自生,就是梵文的“阿努త్పanna(梵文天城體:अनुत्पन्न,梵文羅馬擬音:anutpanna,漢語字面意思:不生)”,也就是無生。

This is the term that says the six mantras arise from the syllable "Da." Or, these arise from the indivisibility of body, life, and limbs. Now is the time to inquire. In order to explain what is said, "The wisdom body, the self-born," it is said, "This unborn nature is what is spoken." That is to say, the wisdom body is "A(ཨ)." The so-called self-born is the Sanskrit "anutpanna(梵文天城體:अनुत्पन्न,梵文羅馬擬音:anutpanna,漢語字面意思:unborn)," which means unborn. Or, the nature of phenomena is unborn, and the characteristic of phenomena is "A(ཨ)." The so-called "this" depends on what is to be explained, which is the following. The so-called "spoken" is the following, which is easy to understand. In order to collect the mantras, the letters arranged in "Letse" are said to be "A(ཨ)," "Ā(ཨཱ)," and so on. Here, in order to confuse those who are easily fatigued, "ṛ(རྀ)," "ṝ(རཱྀ)," "ḷ(ལྀ)," "ḹ(ལཱྀ)" are not arranged in the order of the body letters, because the body will say below, "Make all words very clear." This is what is said. In order to show where the previously mentioned wisdom body resides and how it resides there, "sthito(梵文天城體:स्थितो,梵文羅馬擬音:sthito,漢語字面意思:abiding)" and so on are said. "Sthito(梵文天城體:स्थितो,梵文羅馬擬音:sthito,漢語字面意思:abiding)" is the wisdom body, which means "abiding." Where does it abide? It abides in the "hṛdi(梵文天城體:हृदि,梵文羅馬擬音:hṛdi,漢語字面意思:heart)," which is in the heart. In what way does it abide? In the way of the wisdom body of "jñānamūrti(梵文天城體:ज्ञानमूर्ति,梵文羅馬擬音:jñānamūrti,漢語字面意思:wisdom body)." In the state of non-realization, it is "rahaṃ buddho(梵文天城體:रहं बुद्धो,梵文羅馬擬音:rahaṃ buddho,漢語字面意思:I am Buddha)," abiding in my or the self's mind. In the state of realization, it is "buddhānāṃ(梵文天城體:बुद्धानां,梵文羅馬擬音:buddhānāṃ,漢語字面意思:of the Buddhas)," which means of the Buddhas. If asked, is it of one Buddha? It means "tryadhvāvartināṃ(梵文天城體:त्र्यध्वावर्तिनां,梵文羅馬擬音:tryadhvāvartināṃ,漢語字面意思:revolving in the three times)," that is, the wisdom body resides in the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times. Thus, the wisdom body resides in the hearts of the Buddhas of the three times, which is the state of realization. If not realized, it resides in the self's mind, therefore, wherever it resides, it should be realized. This is what is meant. Now, in order to explain the mantras of the six Chakravartins. Therefore, first, according to the order of explaining the mantras, in order to perfect the body and limbs of the mantras, the mantras must be collected.
