Explanation of Chapter Twenty-one. Explanation of Chapter Twenty-one. Then, again, because one wishes to inquire about the meaning of the Blessed Mother, it is said here: "Blessed One, Essence of Wisdom!" and so on. The answer to the question is: "The secret one attained by wisdom," and so on. Wisdom is the means by which it is attained through the five wisdoms, such as mirror-like wisdom. What is said is that the nature of acting under the sixth, non-dual wisdom cannot be expressed, and it is secret because it is not shown to those who are not vessels. Or, here, it is attained by appearance, the increase of appearance, the attainment of appearance, and the wisdom of radiant light. It explains the nature of joys in the order of appearances, as it is said: "Appearance is explained as joy," and so on. The goddess is the Blessed Mother, the Perfection of Wisdom itself, the radiant light of nature itself becomes the place of all great bliss. That which is unborn is the nature of non-duality, birth, cessation, and separation are inexpressible, separate from letters, by analysis unattainable, inexhaustible, unpolluted by all dharmas, and equal to space because it is without. Therefore, "Birth is the best of inner immutability," and so on, which means that it is not born from anywhere. Now, the nature of the Blessed Mother is shown: "One's own nature is the light of wisdom," and so on. The Blessed One, the glorious Mother of the Essence of Wisdom, is the nature of self-light. The nature of the Great Seal can be distinguished by distinctions such as the body of great bliss. Why? Because one's own nature is distinguished by the expedient and definitive meanings according to the thoughts of those to be tamed. Now, faults and virtues are shown: "If there is no other self and you are not there," and so on. Now, although it is unborn and unceasing, it shows the descent by the power of the devotion of those to be tamed and the blessing of compassion: "The supreme comes from the place of space," and so on. The Blessed Mother, the self-nature of all Tathagatas, together with the Great Seal, because she possesses the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, therefore.
