Second, Explanation of the Mantra Chapter. Second, Explanation of the Mantra Chapter. Knowing many kinds of abilities, causing stiffness and expulsion, causing group stiffness and manifestation, as it is said. Based on that, the second chapter is spoken, called the Mantra Chapter. Mantra because it knows the meaning of that very essence and protects beings, meaning the Bodhicitta born from Samadhi. Mantra because it has the same cause as mantras, such as Om. The chapter that clarifies it is also called that. Explanation means to be explained. Those powers and so on, together with their retinue, are all beings, because they belong to those gods, they are all beings. Torma is an offering object. The mantra of its meaning is: Sarva Dharmāṇāṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari: सर्वधर्माणां, Romanized Sanskrit: sarva dharmāṇāṃ, literal Chinese meaning: all dharmas), which means to be offered, the offerer, and all conditioned dharmas such as offerings. Akaro Mukham (Tibetan, Devanagari: अकारोमुखं, Romanized Sanskrit: akāro mukhaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: A is the door), which means A is the first of the wisdom of the suchness of all meanings. From where does it come? It is said Ādya Nutpāda Natvāta (Tibetan, Devanagari: आद्यनुत्पन्नत्वात, Romanized Sanskrit: ādyanutpannatvāt, literal Chinese meaning: from the beginning unproduced), which means that they are unborn from the very beginning, and are unborn in permanence due to the nature of the object and the subject. The eternally unborn is the wisdom of suchness of these, which means its first. That is also Om Ah Hum (Tibetan, Devanagari: ओं आः हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah Hum), which means the wisdom of the equality of all body, speech, and mind related to the object of offering and the offerer, and the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata. In that, this mind of emptiness of all meanings is Om. Furthermore, the attachment to the nature of emptiness by the appearance of mind-only, and the accurate representation of terms, is Ah. By analyzing the ultimate truth, transcending that attachment and seeing the ultimate truth is Hum. Thus, in that, there is no concept of object and subject in mind-only, and all appearances of it are extinguished. Although it is separate from the expression of definitely practicing the two emptinesses, it is extremely clear and all body, speech, and mind appear as one taste. Therefore, this is also body, also speech, and also mind, so it is Hum. Eliminating various concepts.

The meaning is PHAṬ. "Tathāgatas" refers to the order of Vairochana, Ratnasambhava, Amitābha, Amoghasiddhi, and Akshobhya. The mind focused solely on intention is BHRŪṂ. The mind that self-nature and all Buddhas are equal is ĀṂ. The mind of the lord who visualizes beings as pure is JRĪṂ. The mind that pervades the sky with all elaborations is KHAṂ. This is both body, speech, and mind, hence HŪṂ. As it is also said: "HŪṂ is body, speech, and mind, the indestructible three arise." Having subdued all, manifesting and playing, because of its goodness, it is DE PA'O. Pitsu is an excellent lotus petal, because of following and holding the means, this is similar in Dharma to the lotus petal, hence PITSŪ'O. Because it cuts off all evils, this is similar in Dharma to the vajra, hence PITSŪ VAJRA'O. "To all mantra words" should be connected with "Hevajra." This determination is the meaning of the Hevajra mantras, to eliminate multiplicity and ignorance. Others should be connected as appropriate. "First is Oṃ, last is Svāhā" means that first is Oṃ, last is Svāhā, and it is also exchanged with HŪṂ PHAṬ. HŪṂ is three, and another PHAṬ is HŪṂ PHAṬ. By exchanging this, place it before the syllable Svāhā. Therefore, the beginning of all mantras is Oṃ. Because it arises from merely seeing with the mind, it is a praise to that. At the end, the syllable Svāhā is the meaning of offering to that. HŪṂ is the meaning of cutting off the wicked. PHAṬ is the meaning of killing the wicked. "A KA CA ṬA TA PA YA SHA" refers to the first letters of the eight categories. "Yoginis" refers to the order of the Selfless Mother, Vajra Mother, Inner Gaurī, Water Yoginī, Vajra Ḍākinī, Pukkasī, Tuṃmo, Cemetery Mother, Young Woman, Outer Gaurī, Thief Woman, Corpse Woman, Ghasmarī, Earth-goers, and Sky-goers. "Two hands" should be connected with Hevajra.
