Ninth, Explanation of the Chapter on Collecting Mantras. Ninth, Explanation of the Chapter on Collecting Mantras. In the phrase "Then," etc., "separating combinations" means doing things separately. In the phrase "Whoever knows just a little," etc., "whoever knows just a little is an achiever" refers to the fact that by having great compassion as a precursor, one will obtain the great seal called accomplishment. In the phrase "That which is spoken to be accomplished," etc., after generating great compassion for all sentient beings, one should act with an angry and harsh mind through the yoga of Heruka. "The Able One" refers to the fact that one who cares for the benefit of others is the Able One, the Bhagavan Great Vajradhara. In the phrase "One who harms the teachings," etc., "person" refers to sentient beings; when one engages in such harsh actions, one should first appease them and, even if one has averted them by praying, if one cannot avert them from the cause of suffering, then one should recite "Listen, Bhagavan," etc., and they will surely grant compassion. After that, the mantra practitioner, with a steadfast mind, invites the assembly of deities abiding in the body, speech, and mind of that person, according to the instructions. One should request the deities who have entered one's own body, speech, and mind to depart. One should regard that person's body as an empty house, facing downwards, vomiting blood, trembling, and with hair disheveled. One should contemplate that in the heart of that person, the seed of fire burns like the fire at the end of an eon, unbearable, burning all the bodies up to the crown of the head. Insert a burning needle into the path that has been spoken of, and recite the mantra "Om Ghu Svaha (藏文:ཨོཾ་གྷུ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ ghu svāhā,汉语字面意思:嗡 咕 梭哈)", and meditate on extracting the root of the navel. After death, one should contemplate that the consciousness of that person, by the power of mantras and so on, is born in the pure land of Akshobhya, and in this way, one will surely achieve it without fail. If even one who possesses great compassion acts in this way, how could those who make offerings and sacrifices ever decline? If it is said that there is no difference, it is not so. Those who engage in actions of body, speech, and mind that harm others due to attachment and so on are definitely unwholesome, and they will be born in the three lower realms.

It is transformation. Here, great compassion enters, liberating from attachment to self and what belongs to self, becoming emptiness, extracting the thorn of suffering, which is to be accomplished as the cause of happiness in other worlds. Therefore, how could the actions of body and speech, entered into for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, become non-virtuous deeds? They are entirely virtuous deeds. How can those who perform offerings and generosity with compassion be compared to those ignorant ones who kill livestock and the like because they desire to be born in higher realms for themselves? It has also been said: Those beings who lack the vessel, Desiring to make them vessels, Protecting the teachings of compassion, Not by hatred, not by attachment. It has also been said: If with one suffering one desires to eliminate, The suffering of many sentient beings, The compassionate one, for self and others, Should eliminate those sufferings. The term "existence," etc., refers to the arising of beings above and below, so "existence" is the mind. Its yogi is the four immeasurables, such as love, which are immeasurable, cultivated through meditation and wisdom, becoming the nature of non-objectification, gaining mastery. The term "delightful" means that through the perfection of aspirations, the meaning of captivating the minds of all sentient beings is accomplished, so it is delightful. "Gives the accomplishment of non-discrimination" means that by preceding the accomplishment of the meaning of the higher realms of all sentient beings, all discriminations are abandoned, and the supreme accomplishment of suchness is bestowed. The term "Look, goddess," in which "look" means to know. The term "jewel" refers to the wish-fulfilling jewel. "A body entwined with a chain of flames" means a body adorned with radiant light that captivates the minds of all sentient beings. Even if it is like that, sentient beings controlled by ignorance will not be able to see it. "Those without a hole cannot" means the jewel without a hole, which means being able to grasp the power of the wish-fulfilling jewel in one's hand. "Cannot" means not having the ability to avert the poverty and other sufferings of sentient beings. "Hole" means
