If one thinks in this way, then it should be said: The ultimate Buddha, the Bhagavan (Sanskrit: Bhagavān, meaning: The Blessed One), said, 'Form is emptiness, emptiness is form, form is not different from emptiness, emptiness is not different from form.' Likewise, feeling, perception, volition, and consciousness are also empty.' Because the Buddha proclaimed this, if self-emptiness and other-emptiness are the same as names, then form is other-emptiness, other-emptiness is form, form is not different from other-emptiness, and other-emptiness is not different from form. If one thinks in this way, then impermanent and changing phenomena are also self-empty, therefore they are also other-empty, other-emptiness is also impermanent and changing phenomena, and there is no difference between them. If one thinks in this way, does this not contradict the meaning of 'unchanging' as stated in 'other-emptiness'? Please think carefully. Similarly, all inverted phenomena are also self-empty, therefore they are also the ultimate reality, the ultimate reality is also inverted phenomena, and there is no difference between them. Does this not contradict the meaning of 'non-inverted' as stated in 'ultimate reality'? Furthermore, all signs are also self-empty, therefore they are also signless, signlessness is also all signs, and there is no difference between them. If one thinks in this way, does this not contradict the meaning of 'cessation of signs' and 'pacification of signs' as stated in 'signlessness'? Furthermore, sins and unbearable sufferings, which cannot be reached by the self-aware wisdom of the great saints, are also the ultimate truth because they are self-empty, the ultimate truth is also sins and unbearable sufferings, and there is no difference between them. Does this not contradict the meaning of 'wisdom of the saints' and 'pure self-awareness' as stated in 'ultimate truth'? Furthermore, the evil deeds such as the five heinous crimes, which are not the cause of the holy Dharma, should also be considered as the Dharmadhatu because they are emptiness. Does this not contradict the meaning of 'cause of the holy Dharma' as stated in 'Dharmadhatu'? Therefore, please think carefully. Furthermore, if everything that is self-empty is the ultimate truth, then it must also be assumed that all immutable, perfectly established realities and all Vajras of Dharma-nature are also the ultimate truth. In this case, are the mundane objects that can be burned, destroyed, and cut, such as the Father-Mother deities and bird feathers, also the self-emptiness of their respective natures? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

愿所有如《胜母经》(རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡུམ་,rgyal ba'i yum,Mother of the Buddhas)等,以及《密集金刚根本续》(དཔལ་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲ་བའི་རྒྱུད་,dpal sgyu 'phrul dra ba'i rgyud,Glorious Magical Net Tantra)等大乘经典中,所说的大量甚深空性的各种名称,都能被正确理解为‘他空’(གཞན་སྟོང་,gzhan stong,other-empty)甚深的各种名称。

Because of clinging to 'emptiness', many faults will occur, such as thinking that 'changeless perfection' (འགྱུར་མེད་ཡོངས་གྲུབ་) is everything, that 'Dharmata Vajra' (ཆོས་ཉིད་ཀྱི་རྡོ་རྗེ་) is everything, and so on. These countless faults will descend like a boulder falling on one's head. May all sentient beings abandon the wrong view that everything is 'self-empty' (རང་སྟོང་), everything is 'tathata' (དེ་བཞིན་ཉིད་), and so on. May all the various names of profound emptiness spoken in the Mahayana scriptures, such as the *Mother of the Buddhas* (རྒྱལ་བའི་ཡུམ་) and the *Glorious Magical Net Tantra* (དཔལ་སྒྱུ་འཕྲུལ་དྲ་བའི་རྒྱུད་), be correctly understood as various names of profound 'other-empty' (གཞན་སྟོང་). May we correctly understand that between 'emptiness' (སྟོང་པ་ཉིད་) and not 'ultimate truth' (དོན་དམ་), 'emptiness' and not 'tathata', and so on, up to 'changeless perfection' and 'Dharmata Vajra', there are many 'self-empty' that are neither this nor that, thereby freeing ourselves from clinging to reality. May the great power of the profound blessing of 'ultimate other-empty' be as vast as space and be accomplished as it is. This was written in the manner of the perfection stage by an author who is impartial to any sect and possesses the four reliances. May this benefit the Dharma and all sentient beings! May there be auspiciousness! (This version is an old version from the Amdo ten banners, a handwritten manuscript of 154 pages. This Dharma text seems to be a new discovery not found in the Jintang Temple woodblock edition.)
