Because (the Buddha) said: 'Through the same method.' Some also think that becoming a Buddha in this life refers to a person who has realized the ultimate state, and ordinary people cannot achieve it. But this is not the case. The *Kalachakra Root Tantra* says: 'Chandala (outcaste), bamboo makers, etc., and those who commit the five inexpiable sins, if they follow the practice of mantra, they will become Buddhas in this life.' Therefore, even a person who is committing the five inexpiable sins, if he later strives to practice, it is possible to attain Buddhahood in that life. It is impossible for noble beings to commit the five inexpiable sins, and the *Top Tantra* also says: 'Ordinary people can also achieve Buddhahood, otherwise they cannot.' This contradicts the above view. Others believe that becoming a Buddha, as stated by Jnana Karas, etc., refers to obtaining the Bhumi-attaining Vidyadhara (knowledge holder). This view is incorrect, because according to the Paramita (perfection) view, there is also the saying of attaining it in one lifetime. The Buddhahood attained in this life refers to obtaining the ten powers, four fearlessnesses, four kinds of wisdom, and twelve bhumis, becoming the supreme of the three realms. In the *Kalachakra Commentary*, it says: 'With the intention of one's own mind, giving the fruit of Buddhahood in this life refers to this life, that is, this human body can give the fruit of Buddhahood, it is the king of tantras. For the beings of the five realms such as gods, it is not so.' Why? Because they are not the place of karma. Even the gods and others must obtain a human body before they can give the fruit of Buddhahood.' This is the definitive statement of the Bhagavan. It refers to the great man who is born from the accumulation of merit and wisdom, possessing the nature of the six elements. Another situation is that a person who does not have good karma cannot give the fruit of Buddhahood in this human body, this is the definitive statement of the Tathagatagarbha (Buddha-nature).’ And so on. Finally, it says: 'According to the order stated in this way, for those who contradict the definitive statement, giving the fruit of Buddhahood is the king of tantras. Buddhahood is omniscient wisdom, all-knowing wisdom, path wisdom, and all aspects of path wisdom, it is the perfection of the ten powers and fearlessnesses, etc. Giving these is giving the fruit of Buddhahood.' The *Yele Tantra* says: 'Gather all the lives residing in the bodies of sentient beings and subdue them.'

'After subduing all the demons, the one with神通 (Tibetan: རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་, Skt: ṛddhi, Roman: rddhi, meaning: magical power) and all-knowing wisdom, the supreme lord of the three realms, the birth of yogis is like this: if one enters the path and dies, then his attachment will bring about the next life.' And in its commentary it says: 'Abiding in the 行者 (Tibetan: རོའི་འགྲོ་བ་, Skt: ?, Roman: ?, meaning: the one who goes) of Ro, abiding in the six mandalas of earth and so on.' 'Summoning all lives' refers to twenty-one thousand six hundred. Thus, after subduing the afflictive demons, the twelve stages of神通 (Tibetan: རྫུ་འཕྲུལ་, Skt: ṛddhi, Roman: rddhi, meaning: magical power) and all-knowing wisdom will be explained, the supreme lord of the three realms is the all-knowing one, the all-knowing of all aspects, the knowledge of the path, the all-knowing of all aspects of the path, and so on, these virtues are bestowed upon the diligent yogis in their next life. If someone enters the path and dies without attaining yoga, then his attachment, that is, his karmic imprints, will again obtain a human body, and everything will be obtained. If one is not diligent and does not cultivate wisdom, then one will be liberated at the end of at most seven lifetimes, this is certain.' Because it is said so, and the प्रमाण (Tibetan: ལུང་, Skt: āgama, Roman: agama, meaning: scriptural authority) of 《现观庄严论》 is quoted, as well as many other pure प्रमाण (Tibetan: ལུང་, Skt: āgama, Roman: agama, meaning: scriptural authority). Therefore, in reality, at the level of karma, being born as a human with the six elements, an ordinary person who accumulates merit, if he practices the ultimate of mantra, then by practicing the path of longevity vidyadhara, in this life he can attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, this is certain. This work called 'Mirror of Clarifying the Meaning of the Scriptures' was written at the urging of the wealthy one who holds the treasure of hearing, thinking, and meditation, Lama Gandenpa Rinchen Pel, and in order to eliminate the wrong views of many great people and their followers who have not studied the teachings, by an author who is proficient in doctrine, reasoning, and oral instructions, and possesses the four reliances. May this bring great benefit to the Dharma and all sentient beings! Sarva Mangalam! Bhavantu!
