Heartfelt Words in Three Lines Heartfelt Words in Three Lines ༈ This is the treatise called "Heartfelt Words in Three Lines." Listen well, fortunate son of good lineage! This precious human body with leisure and opportunity, obtained through the cause and effect of past karma and favorable circumstances, depends on you, whether it will be wasted or not. 1 The boundary between going up and going down is now. The dividing line between desiring lasting good and lasting bad is this moment. If you don't practice Dharma now, it's like returning empty-handed from the Isle of Jewels. 2 The state of perfect enlightenment, ultimate bliss, If attained, there is no greater purpose than that. If not attained, remaining as you are means losing the main point. Without liberation, bad karma and so on are called old ruins. 3 Therefore, do not postpone Dharma practice. There is no certainty when the Lord of Death, the demon, will come. Regretting at the time of death is too late. The time when you can strive with one hand is now. 4 The basis of the three trainings is discipline. It is difficult to protect without abandoning bad places and bad friends. Seeing the suffering of samsara, generate renunciation. Without the desire for liberation, it's just wishful thinking. 5 That small man who runs after the lust of others, is diligent at first but easily deteriorates later. Your own vows should be like drawing a picture on a stone. Do not listen to anyone's words, rely on solitude. 6 If you do that, meditation will arise on its own. Emptiness, compassion, union, bodhichitta, will definitely arise in your mind without difficulty. The qualities of the stages and paths will increase like the waxing moon. 7 If you cannot stay in solitude, doing things for others will eventually become the cause of losing your own benefit. Wandering around towns and villages like a dog, achieving pure Dharma is like a star in the daytime. 8 The long-term thought of being too busy to accomplish anything, what will you do when the Lord of Death suddenly appears? Be kind to yourself. Material possessions and enjoyments are like dew on the tip of a blade of grass. 9 Accumulating, scattering, and increasing the meat stalls and buying 《wine reviews》, destroys this life and the next, burdened by the weight of sin. Thinking about that, don't be fooled by bad places. This worldly activity is like a butter lamp in a painting. 10 Is it possible that enjoyment will decline and also be beneficial? Thinking well about the way there is no end, do not prolong procrastination and delusion, son of good lineage. Parents and relatives are like people born in a dream. 11 Do not be attached or hateful, son of good lineage. Praise, respect, and fame are like the echo of sound. Do not be happy, sad, hopeful, or fearful, son of good lineage. To this your own body

Ito Yordra: 12 O son of a noble family, do not excessively cherish attachment! All desires are like rainbows in the sky. Do not chase after painful feelings, O son of a noble family! This mind of conceptual thought is like a bird on a treetop. 13 It is impossible to know when it will fly away, O son of a noble family! If you examine and analyze it, it is like the thread of a rosary. It cannot be established as a single entity, O son of a noble family! The nature of multiplicity cannot be identified as this or that. 14 You are attached to things, O son of a noble family! The basis for the arising of the five poisons of affliction does not exist. Look at that nature, O son of a noble family! Even though you are constantly bound to samsara by clinging. 15 In reality, there is no bondage or attachment, O son of a noble family! The view is vast like the sky. There is no object, thought, or expression, O son of a noble family! Meditation is bright like the sun and moon. 16 There is no rising, setting, clarity, or obscurity, O son of a noble family! Conduct yourself in accordance with others. Adopt and abandon in the proper way, O son of a noble family! However, follow the natural flow of your own nature. 17 There is no action or inaction, O son of a noble family! The result is like a good harvest ripening. Naturally eliminate poverty, O son of a noble family! Thus, through the blessings of calling out auspiciousness. 18 May it become a cause that benefits you according to the teachings. Uproot the poisonous tree of evil thoughts. May you always be immersed in the Dharma, may there be auspiciousness! This is also formed from empty talk that one does not possess, like a water bubble, stirred by the important great wind. There are no ornate words of decoration and composition, only piling up and filling in. Thinking that the origination of eighteen verses and nineteen deficient lines is good. Sonam Chodrak, in Sanskrit called Punyadharma Kirti, is very kind to followers, not just with pure intention, but with sincerity that matches the meaning, urged by Gaga Abhyas, the writing activity of the great Vajradhara Vagishwari, may it become the cause for the spontaneous accomplishment of the benefit of oneself and others. Sarva Mangalam. If you need advice, contemplate the fact that your life cannot transcend death, practice impermanence, and be sure to generate it within your mind. In this way, after death, no matter where you are born in the higher or lower realms of samsara, you cannot escape the nature of suffering. The general suffering of samsara and the six realms.
