Free from the harm of non-existence, able to control everything at will, like a lion rising from a snowy mountain, possessing conduct endowed with the sound of a view that is not overwhelmed by appearances, and so on. Third, the conduct of the king, the earth-holder, arises from the path of the yogi. Among these are: The conduct of compassionate longing is like a mother to her only child, led by the Bodhicitta in which the self-radiance of emptiness dawns as great compassion, eliminating the suffering of sentient beings in samsara, and is the conduct of accomplishing lasting happiness. The conduct of great compassion is also the perfect practice of the benefit of body, speech, and mind. These two are established from the perspective of motivation and action. Those are: Hey, hey, great Thubpa, listen! Listen well to what I have taught! Who unites yoga with meaning? One should become accustomed to this conduct. With the conduct of a bee, taste the flavor of all dharmas. With the conduct of a wild animal, abandon the places that cause delusion. With the conduct of a mute, one should abandon deluded speech. With the conduct of a sparrow, cut off doubts about secret mantras. With the conduct of a madman, abandon places of solitary dwelling. With the conduct of a lion, abandon fear and wander in charnel grounds. With the conduct of a dog and pig, abandon the concepts of clean and unclean. With the conduct of a bear, use mindfulness and thought like a flash of lightning. With the conduct of a young child, abandon deluded attachment and make the mind-stream supple. With the conduct of a swan, guide with words that accord with the world. With the conduct of an elephant, turn back the battlefields of samsara from their roots. With the conduct of a mountain hare, abandon the notions of son and enemy. With the conduct of a fish, contentment also arises, limiting time with desire. With the conduct of a mule, do not propagate the seeds of samsara. With the conduct of a Brahmin, abandon the food of others' enjoyment. With the conduct of a hero, distinguish the boundaries of samsara and nirvana. With the conduct of a spring, keep the support of mindfulness in its own place. With the conduct of wielding a spear in the sky, use things transparently and without hindrance. The conduct of space like wind

With the syllable Da, abandon the thoughts of grasping and being grasped; with the conduct like that of a Garuda, cut off the cliffs with waves; with the conduct like that of a mountain, practice on the unchanging, self-pure ground; with the conduct like that of a great thunderbolt, practice so that appearances do not turn back. Thus it is said. In the "Lion's Perfect Strength," it says: However, the secret meaning is as follows: the conduct of non-grasping objects, the conduct of self-appearing means, the conduct of non-attachment and detachment, the conduct of the path of emptiness, the conduct of effortless appearance, the conduct by the power of asceticism, and the conduct of non-grasping samsara, these are known as the seven kinds of conduct. The conduct of non-grasping objects is shown as an example of a beggar; the conduct of self-appearing means is shown as an example of a wild animal; the conduct of non-attachment and detachment is shown as an example of a young child; the conduct of the path of emptiness is shown as an example of the ocean and stars; the conduct of effortless mind appearance is shown as an example of a mad elephant; the conduct of the power of asceticism is shown as an example of a tigress; the conduct of non-grasping samsara is shown as an example of a wheel spinning in the sky. Thus it is said. In the "All-Illuminating," it says: The conduct of non-remembrance, the yogi should not be artificial, but should act like a mad elephant; like a bee sucking a flower, the yogi should practice without attachment in whatever way is comfortable; the conduct of great compassion, like the essence of the sun, should be perfected for the benefit of others with body, speech, and mind; the conduct of compassionate sorrow, like a mother with an only child, the yogi should practice for the benefit of others. Thus it is said. On the subsequent attainment of the path, establishing oneself on the peak of liberation, or binding oneself to the oath of complete liberation and great equality, is the emptiness guidance that assists in practice.
