The means of binding: The behavior of pretense by those who have not attained realization. The behavior without acceptance or rejection: It is the behavior of outer and inner secret mantras, not wanting to reject afflictions by taking them as the essence of deities on the path, not wanting to achieve wisdom apart from the mind, and being attached to meaning. These two belong to the category of behavior with acceptance and rejection, so it is not the behavior of Dzogchen itself in this context, so it is briefly mentioned here within the category of distinctions. As it is also said in Rangshar: The behavior of non-attachment is the behavior of the characteristic vehicle, bound by great attachment to meaning, how can it be liberated without means? Attached to meaningless behavior. The realization of grasping binds one's own being, does not liberate, and remains for a long time, it is the behavior of pretenders. And: The behavior without rejection or acceptance is the behavior of outer and inner secret mantras, not wanting to reject afflictions, not wanting to achieve wisdom, it is the behavior of connecting words and meanings. It is not without attachment to meaning, the supreme means of behavior is particularly excellent, the behavior of grasping great means is the same. Likewise, the yoga of such behavior is not the behavior of true reality, enlightenment arises from the difference of means, on what aspect of a single difference? There is no gathering or scattering of the realization of wisdom. So it is. The behavior of non-attachment to desire also has three types of behavior included with or without acceptance and rejection, in the Union of Sun and Moon it is said: There are three types of behavior: distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is the behavior of body and speech, making asceticism arise on the path is the behavior of numbers, and the liberation of appearances in their own place is the behavior of awareness abiding in its natural state. So it is. Furthermore, there are three divisions of samsara and nirvana: outer, inner, and secret. The behavior of numbers, 21, leads to tranquility. There are five ways of liberation in the behavior of meditative equipoise. In the post-meditation state, there is the behavior of great compassion and the behavior of compassion and longing, having the two behaviors of accomplishing the welfare of beings. In Don Sal it is said: There are two types of divisions: behavior with acceptance and rejection and behavior without acceptance and rejection. So it is. The corresponding example is: In general, transforming into various forms and whatever it touches becomes medicine like medicine, so in Kun Sal it is said: The example is like a dancer transforming into various forms.

It is like the operation of a craftsman's hand. Also, it says in the Tantra of Turning Back Battles: An example of conduct is like a skilled doctor, who can turn anything he touches into medicine. Specific examples come from the branches. The call is, as it says in Don Sal: Conduct and activities, and words for doing things, the three yogas of superior, middling, and inferior, and the conduct of base, path, and fruit, wherever they arise, I will explain as I have been shown. Second, explaining the nature in detail, there are two types of conduct: conduct that can be followed and attained, and conduct that cannot be followed and is held in equanimity. The first of these has two parts: the preliminary conduct of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana, and the main practice of incorporating asceticism into the path. First, the conduct of distinguishing between samsara and nirvana is like a warrior turning back a battle, forcibly cutting off attachment to the three doors and three realms. As it says in Rang Shar: With the conduct of a warrior, distinguish between samsara and nirvana. This has already been explained. The main practice is to incorporate asceticism into the path, which is the conduct of time. There are three types of conduct that arise in sequence: the conduct of a young renunciate, the conduct of equanimity in asceticism, and the conduct of a king holding the earth. First, the conduct of a young renunciate is all of the ten practices of Dharma, the practice of the perfections, and the practice of the Vajrayana. The conduct of the heirs of the Buddhas, the Bodhisattvas of the Sutra and Tantra vehicles, is not to be abandoned here. If it were, it would be the view of the black-mouthed demon, or conduct that has fallen into the side of view. Therefore, the Great Orgyen said: View descends from above, conduct ascends from below. And: View is higher than the sky, karma and cause and effect are finer than flour. Therefore, as an aid to view and meditation, one must rely on the lineage from the very beginning. Second, the conduct of equanimity in asceticism is when one has gained a slight increase in the power of intelligence. Therefore, in the conduct of the three doors, one seeks the instructions of hearing and thinking, abandons the objects of delusion, abandons deluded speech, cuts the net of doubt, abandons one's homeland, and so on, like a madman with nothing to rely on, with no choice in food and clothing, like a dog and a pig, and people and people
