Hereafter, I confess that I have generated ordinary attachment to the five meats and nectar that have not been attained, or due to the habits of dogs and pigs. I confess that due to the control of stinginess, the quality of offerings is poor, and the remaining essence is reduced. I confess that due to being too lazy and controlled by others, daily offerings and errands are interrupted. I confess that I have broken the boundaries of vows and commitments by engaging in promiscuous behavior, losing control of speech, having an insufficient number of men and women, and acting as I please. I confess that I have not performed recitations and prayers, resulting in decline, delay, and distraction, and that I have not recognized my own faults, thinking that the deities have no power. I confess that due to the inferiority of wisdom meditation, the offerings and tormas have not been blessed, and that I have sought oppression through actions with inferior views. I confess that I have looked at samsara and nirvana as my own lineage with a low mind, mistaken arrogance for a demon, and utilized it because I did not understand the intention of the lineage. Even the lineage of the Buddha and Yakshas is stained by Rudra, a place of compassion, and I confess that I have changed my mind with evil views, fighting and devouring. I confess that I have spoken frivolous and reckless words with a frivolous and shallow mind. Having confessed and compensated in this way, I purify the obscurations, reconcile the hatred, and dispel the darkness of disharmony between humans and gods, harm between gods and humans, defilement of offering substances, depletion of practice substances, defilement of compensation substances, breaking of vows, impure places, and shadows of corpses. Clear away the darkness and grant accomplishments. May the auspiciousness of the three times be supreme. Please always be close to me, do not abandon the vows of the past, do not transgress the commands and vows, do not be too hostile and cruel, do not abandon promises and oaths, do not diminish power and courage, do not neglect protection and love. Whatever wrong I do, please do not be angry like a mother at the actions of an ignorant child, and please accomplish the entrusted tasks. This was also written by the late-time mantra practitioner Gaga Abhiye at the urging of Lama Dunchung, so that it may be meaningful, and may it become a vine of auspiciousness in the three times. Good! Good! Good! To summarize again: Alas! Great Yaksha, please listen. I confess and purify the mistakes of ignorance and carelessness, and the violation of the will of the oath-bound protectors. oṃ rāja candra samaya sarva śuddhaye ye svāhā.
