The division into nine volumes, to symbolize the Nine Vehicles, is based on the oral tradition of the Great Treasure Revealer himself, and the arrangement of the Dharma sections, etc., is mostly in accordance with the intention of Khenchen Sonam Tsering. In general, the words of the unequaled Shakyamuni and the accomplished scholars of India and Tibet are the sole supreme path to liberation and omniscience. In particular, the profound terma vajra words of the infallible, accomplished, and realized great Treasure Revealers are swifter in their signs of blessing and accomplishment than other teachings. Especially, these Dharma sections of the mind terma of the Great Treasure Revealer Drubwang Namkhai Jigme are close in lineage, have great power of blessing, complete instructions of key points, and contain various elaborations and condensations according to the capacity of individuals. Therefore, those fortunate followers should not regard them merely as rituals for the dead, but should engage in study, contemplation, and practice of these great mirrors of realization that clearly show the profound secret Great Perfection teachings, according to their own abilities. This would be the greatest kindness to oneself, so please keep this in mind. Again, I say: All-pervading Samantabhadra and Padmakara, master of the degenerate age who transforms into various forms to tame beings, supreme illuminator of the teachings of the profound secret supreme vehicle, Namkhai Jigme, I prostrate to you again. From churning the milk-ocean of the secret treasury of the three lineages, the hundred-flavored supreme food of profound terma arises. Those followers who bear the red and yellow marks of vows, how could they not partake with great reverence and purity? In this degenerate age, disharmony and decline are rampant, both internal and external.
