The profound treasure of secret instructions, empowerment like the sun. Well drawn into the sky of the four continents of sentient beings, May the light of ripening and liberation blaze without fading! It is said that when the accomplished master Namkha Jigme turned the wheel of Dharma of the Six Bardos near the stone fortress of Machu (present-day Maqu County, Gansu Province), many wonderful miracles and signs of accomplishment occurred. His devoted disciple, Phukhang Khenchen Sonam Tsering, wrote them down and urged him to compose it accordingly. The many wonderful miracles and signs of accomplishment that occurred when the wheel of Dharma of the Six Bardos was turned were written down by Phukhang Khenchen Sonam Tsering.
