One should not revile the mad. One should not revile the putrid of body. One should not revile the asuras. Those who eat impure food, those who drink urine, those who drink blood, those who eat meat, those who drink pus, those who eat fat, those who eat marrow, those who eat snot, those who eat what drips from empty places, those who inhale breath, and those who eat the elements, will not be harmed. Son of lineage, this treasury stream dharani, whether a son of lineage or a daughter of lineage, in whose house it is, or in the heart, or in the hand, or in the book, or has heard it, or has fully understood it, or has recited it, or has held it, or has rejoiced in it, or has widely shown it to others, that son of lineage or daughter of lineage will have long-term benefit, well-being, virtue, accomplishment, happiness, and good harvests. Whoever makes offerings to the Thus Gone Ones, and recites this treasury stream dharani twice, three times, or four times at midnight, then his deity will be pleased, and will be pleased with the teachings of the Thus Gone Ones, and will be pleased with the establishment of the Sangha, and will be pleased with the speaker of the Dharma, and will come in person with great goodwill, and will rain down a rain of grain. Ma Satya Manu Smara, Sangha Satya Manu Smara, Da Ta Da Ta, Pura Pura, Pura Ya, Bura Ya, Burani, Bhara Bharani, Amale, Su Mangale, Shanta Mati, Shubha Mati, Mangala Bhani, Maha Mati, Bhadra Vati, Prabha Vati, Su Chandra Mati, Agaccha Agaccha, Samaya Manu Smara Svaha, Aparani Manu Smara Svaha, Prabha Vava Manu Smara Svaha, Dee Dee Manu Smara Svaha, Tejo Manu Smara Svaha, Vijaya Manu Smara Svaha, Hridaya Manu Smara Svaha, Sarva Sattva Vinaya Manu Smara Svaha, Om Vasudhare Svaha, Om Vasu Shriye Svaha, Om Shri Vasu Svaha, Om Vasu Svaha. Son of good family, this is the dharani called 'Source of Wealth'. By the power of this dharani-mantra, famine, disease, and untimely death will not occur. Son of good family, whoever makes offerings to the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, and then recites these secret mantra words of the Source of Wealth dharani for one night, from then on, accomplishments will occur. For the sake of expansion, in my house or another's house, or in a clean place, a treasury, or any place, for the sake of the Tathagata, Avalokiteshvara, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and the deities of secret mantras, make a square mandala with sandalwood and recite it for one night. Son of good family, the source of wealth, grain, gold, silver, and all utensils in that house will be filled with the mere mention of great people. All fears and harms will also disappear. Son of good family, therefore, you should diligently hold this Source of Wealth dharani. Learn it! Master it! Proclaim it! And also widely and correctly proclaim it to others, and that will become your long-term benefit, welfare, and happiness. The Blessed One, (the householder Chandra Sangha) said, "Excellent!" Having heard this Source of Wealth dharani from the Blessed One, the householder Chandra Sangha felt satisfied, joyful, delighted, and pleased, and was extremely happy. He generated joy and contentment, bowed to the feet of the Blessed One with his head, and spoke to the Blessed One as follows: "Blessed One, I have received what is called the Source of Wealth."
