Yogurt for the Moon, beans for Mars, food for Mercury, a burden of ghee for Jupiter, milk for Venus, beans for Saturn, mixed with beans, sesame porridge for Rahu, sesame porridge for Ketu, and vegetables with brown sugar. The Yaksha's offering is the yogurt of the protector of the land. Yogurt and beans for the Holy Born One, food for Mercury. Milk porridge food for the one with bad eyes. Yogurt and beans for the one with a bad body, food for Mercury mixed with brown sugar wine. Offer flowers of colors according to the order. Offer incense of colors according to the order. Offer banners of colors according to the order. Offer lamps to each. Make offerings according to the order. Fill a conch shell with ghee and honey, put in five kinds of jewels, offer the offering, and also tie silk on the face. Vajrapani, these planets are accomplished by reciting the essence mantras, according to the order, a mandala of incense matching the color, made twelve fingers wide, and offered in the center. With copper or similar, or gold or silver vessels, offer the offering, and each one should also be recited one hundred and eight times. Vajrapani, then also below that, recite the words of the mantra of the Dharani called the Mother of the Planets seven times. Then, all the planets, including the Sun, will protect. It will liberate from the evil of poverty. Those whose lives are exhausted will become long-lived. Vajrapani, also, whether it is a monk, a nun, a layman, a laywoman, or other sentient beings, whoever hears these, they will not die untimely. Vajrapani, also, whoever makes offerings in the center of the mandala of the planets, and the Dharma speaker who recites it every day, all the planets will in every way fulfill all his thoughts. It will also diminish the poverty of his lineage. Then, the Blessed One, the Tathagata Shakyamuni.
