Whoever holds this place will be close to it. If one desires wisdom, one will be close to wisdom; if one desires dharani, one will be close to dharani; if one desires wealth, one will be close to wealth; if one desires learning, one will be close to learning. The ritual for this is as follows: On the first day of the waxing moon, at sunrise, one should eat rice powder of Salu mixed with milk. One should always keep in mind the vidya mantras of the Buddhas and the other names of the vidya mantras of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. However, by the power of these secret mantras, whether it be an Asura, or a Garuda, or a Kinnara, or a Mahoraga, or a Yaksha, or a Preta, or a Kumbhanda, or a Rakshasa, or a human, or a non-human, who dwells in the realms of beings as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, they will be delighted. They will not create obstacles and will always protect him. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas such as Joyful Goodness, Vast Expanse, Vajrapani, Completely Joyful, those who dwell in secluded mountains, and those who dwell on snow mountains will also protect him. Those Bodhisattvas between Akanistha will also, by the power of the dharani that possesses wealth, bless him in fear or in solitude. He will bestow fearlessness upon him. The Bhagavan, in Tushita, sitting on a white lotus-like stone slab, spoke thus, "Bodhisattva Mahasattva, dwell well," and the many thousands of Bodhisattvas rejoiced and praised the words spoken by the Bhagavan.
