The Noble Dhamma Ocean Dhāraṇī The Noble Dhamma Ocean Dhāraṇī In Sanskrit: Āryadharma sāgara nāma dhāraṇī. In Tibetan: The Noble Dhamma Ocean Dhāraṇī. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard: At one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Vārāṇasī, in the Deer Park at Ṛṣipatana, together with a great Saṅgha of five hundred fully ordained monks. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the monks, and those monks listened to the Blessed One. The Blessed One spoke thus: Monks, I have realized the profound Dharma, difficult to see, difficult to realize, subtle, refined, to be understood by the wise through knowledge. I have turned the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of many beings, for the happiness of many beings, with compassion for the world, for the sake of the majority of beings, for the benefit and happiness of gods and humans. I must firmly practice in order to turn the unobstructed wheel of Dharma. Monks, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened Buddha, endowed with the wisdom of mindfulness, endowed with the wisdom of intelligence, endowed with the wisdom of realization, endowed with the wisdom of steadfastness, endowed with the wisdom of prajñā, endowed with the supreme speech, endowed with supreme fearlessness, with knowledge and vision, has taught and explained the Dharma category called "The Dhamma Ocean Dhāraṇī." Those who know it, those who hold it, will quickly attain five dharmas. Which five? Namely: they will have the mindfulness of hearing and holding; they will have the mindfulness of non-forgetfulness, and will have the wisdom that does not waste the dharmas they hold; they will have the realization of attaining sharpness; they will have unobstructed fearlessness in entering letters, meanings, and words; they will become skilled in remembering past lives by knowing the path of the causes of sentient beings. These five dharmas are perfected by the past Tathāgatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones.

established by the Buddha. Now I also establish. Then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ānanda: "Ānanda, I will show you the collection of the essence of all dharmas. Therefore, you will hear dharmas you have not heard. You will retain the dharmas you have heard. You will practice the dharmas you have retained. You will make others understand the dharmas you have practiced. The five categories of words are as follows: the category of words of fabrication, similarly, the category of words of dharmas not heard, the category of supreme words, the category of words of letters examined from ground to ground, and the category of words of definite words and various terms. Among these, these are the words endowed with the splendor-stabilizing word-knowledge mantra: all the yakshas, rakshasas, kumbhandas, pretas, and flesh-eaters of the four continents' world realm, all who come to Jambudvipa, will give that person all kinds of food and medicine. Moreover, the secret mantra arising from the Dharma, not harming others, spoken by the Tathagata, praised by gods, nagas, yakshas, and gandharvas, completely holding these teachings, Ānanda, listen to these secret mantras! You will regret it later. syādyathēdana. karmakētamaṇucchē. ratirutagranadrama. thumana. nailata. asaṁkulasthā. bumiānusmari. īśaṁgamaīśastā. klēnānugatē. yāmula gumbhē. pabhemagurbayaba. asyāvākyasyavilaṁgabēlamaṭhāśrīvavārībañcaka. brasadē. avabēla. agrabēla. niśikhuucējumē. ucējumē. Ānanda, these are the accomplishments of subduing yakshas, and those yakshas who also serve and honor the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha Kashyapa Buddha, these are bonds. Ānanda, you should retain the accomplishments of subduing yakshas, spoken by the Tathagata. Ānanda, whoever retains these faultless secret mantras
