Then, Brahma and Vishnu and Great Powerful Lord and the Four Great Kings circumambulated the Bhagavan three times, prostrated, and then spoke to the Bhagavan as follows: Bhagavan, we all gather together, to seize the hearts of all nagas, to destroy the heart, to cause the lineage of the unruly nagas to perish, to avert all winds and hailstorm clouds, to cause all flowers and fruits and crops to flourish, please recite the dharani called Vajra Sky Iron Beak. Please, Bhagavan, bless it for the sake of accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings. Then, the Bhagavan spoke to Brahma and Vishnu and Shiva and the Four Great Kings: Sons of noble family, I empower you to speak with the blessing of the truth of the benefit of all sentient beings and all noble ones. Spura spura, vispura vispura vispura, cara rba cara rba cara rba. Nāśaya duṣṭaṃ nāga hṛdaya, sphoṭaya, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ. Duṣṭa āśani, bhutta maga śa vīrya jvala, bhasmiṃ kuru hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā. Samaya manu smāraya, bho nāgādhipati vicintu, bhiyi bhoya, bho bho tu, titu titu, hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā. Vajra aśani nāśaya hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā. Vajra aśani nāśaya hūṃ hūṃ phaṭ phaṭ svāhā. Sarva nāga hṛdayāni, visphoṭa kāya hūṃ phaṭ svāhā. Buddha vilokitāya svāhā. Brahmā svāhā. Viṣṇu mūrtāya svāhā. Maheśvara jvalita triśūlāya svāhā. Caturmahārāja samdharāya svāhā. Vicagatiya phaṭ svāhā. Oṃ diri diri svāhā. Jvalita baktrāya svāhā. Juti juti svāhā. Phaṭ phaṭ. This dhāraṇī mantra called "Vajra Flaming Sky Iron Beak," upon hearing it, all wicked nāgas will have their bodies rot, and they will no longer smell pleasant scents. Their bodies will break apart and move, reaching the feet of the Bhagavan, and they will plead thus: "Bhagavan, we beseech you for protection! We are despised by all, including gods and the world. We have become wicked. Bhagavan, henceforth we will not harm sentient beings in Jambudvīpa, we will not kill. We will not even look at the small ones, let alone seek opportunities to harm them." The nāga kings in the ocean, the umbrella-like nāga kings, the powerful nāga kings, the radiant nāga kings, the wicked nāgas, and so on, hundreds of thousands of koṭis of nāgas, touched the feet of the Bhagavan with their heads, prostrated, and all the nāgas promised in the future that they would not harm all sentient beings in Jambudvīpa. They will protect all flowers, fruits, grains, leaves, and branches. They will prevent all wind and hail. They will cause rain to fall at the right times, according to their own oath and commitment.

I will keep the vows of the departed. I will fulfill all beings' hopes and perfect what is in their minds. I will not harm. O Bhagavan, if I were to contradict these distinctions of merit, may we not attain complete and perfect enlightenment in Bodhi. This is the mantra of the dance: Tadyatha. In times of heavy rain or no rain, or untimely rain, and wind, clouds, hail, cold wind, and lightning, this dance mantra of the yogi, whether on a rooftop or high ground, or on a mountaintop, facing east, recite it loudly seven times, and also recite mustard seeds seven times, and scatter them upwards.
