Then, the Blessed One rejoiced and praised, saying: Vajradhara, go forth and fulfill the wishes of the gods, the sons of gods, the asuras, the sons of asuras, the wind gods, the sons of wind gods, the garudas, the sons of garudas, and those who utter sounds and experience suffering in the great assembly. Then, Vajradhara rose from his seat and went into the midst of the gods, asuras, wind gods, garudas, and assemblies of spirits, and subsequently manifested, entering into the samadhi called "Vajra Weapon Flame." By means of miraculous power, in the realm of the three thousand great thousand worlds, flames blazed forth with radiating light, sparks scattered in all directions, and lightning flashed, filling the world with terror. Thereafter, for five great kalpas, in numbers like dreams, water, and the sands of the Ganges River, the vajra accomplished by the power of splendor, majesty, brahmacharya, purity, patience, discipline, asceticism, austerity, and all one's own enjoyments, was given into the hand of the bodhisattva Vajrapani. This is the sutra dharma of the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, the dharma and discipline of the arhats, those who practice samadhi, the paramitas and discipline of the bodhisattvas, who practice patience and compassion. One's own vajra, the wisdom of the lineage, the mandala, and the manner of recitation, is the subduing of the difficult-to-tame wrathful deities, Ishvara, Yama, the water god, the evil body, the wind god, and the garuda. Thus, the Blessed Ones, the wrathful ones, arising from this, bewilder the ignorant, darken the deceitful, agitate the hateful, destroy the deluded, uproot the stubborn, crush the expansive to ashes, straighten the crooked, treat the severed with compassion, and the spirits.

When she came, the Holy Vajradhara said: O virtuous woman of great fortune, endowed with the mind of the Tathagata's samadhi, please grant the power to make these compatible with the ritual implements. Then the dharani said: As you have commanded, I will do as you say, thus she spoke three times. And wooden staffs, and the vajra of power, and the noose of the water deity, and the obstacles of the heretics, and the illusions of the non-gods, and the splendor of the wind gods, and the bewilderment of the powerful and accomplished ones, and the severing of the assemblies of mamos, and the vows of the nagas, and poisons, and wrathful ones, and yakshas, and rakshasas, and human-like beings, and flesh-eaters, and elementals, and Brahma's rakshasas, and krulbums, and the unreal, and oppressors, and those who attack during the time of rising corpses, and likewise, purify all of them! With just a smile of the eye, instantly offering everything, and offering this essence to Vajrapani, he spoke: Homage to the Three Jewels! Homage to the great army commander of yakshas, the fierce Vajrapani! Tadyatha. tatagatasaṁādhi dhāraṇī. mahā avartayiṣyāmi. ahi vajre. kuṭili. koṭipāpakā kakulaśikhi. kavilakeśi. taṭi ciṭa ciṭi maṭani. karkaṭa muṭi vaṭṭi vajre. mahā vidhu llo lole. pagu pulu. sumu sumu. sara sara. sphaṭa sphaṭa. sudyote. piṁgale ciṭe. vicaṭi. jrala vigale. sarva devaga na. praharaṇa māyā. siddha dāyige. suruke. suruke. vajra ghoṇe. vajra ḍḍhi. sāra praharaṇe. ratnatraya. dikrala buddhete. vajradhara viśvāsani ka. apratihata pramardani svāhā. Whoever remembers, recites, meditates on, or holds this secret mantra, upon hearing it, will not fall into the lower realms. One will have made offerings to all the mandalas of the worldly and transcendent realms. One will enter into the vows and mudras. One will summon with thought and rejoicing. One will be utterly terrified by poisons, secret mantras, knots, beatings, and the fear of bondage, and so forth. Then, the gods and the sons of gods, through that power, experienced the various manifestations of the Blessed One Vajradhara, and the various teachings spoken by the Blessed One, and offered with radiant flowers, clouds of incense, and a vast rain of many jewels to the gods of the pure realms above and the Akanishtha, and the gods dwelling in other world realms.
