Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus have I heard. Once upon a time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Lhasa Ma, together with the great Yaksha chief Vajrapani. Then, the lord of the gods, Indra, went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the lord of the gods, Indra, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, when I go to the battlefield to fight, do you know that I am defeated by the illusions, mantras, secret spells, and medicines of the Asuras? Blessed One. In order to protect us, to have compassion on us, and to destroy and annihilate the illusions, mantras, secret spells, and medicines of the Asuras, please skillfully teach the great secret spell of great victory. Then, the Blessed One said to the lord of the gods, Indra: Kausika, it is so. When you engage in battle with the Asuras, it is indeed so that you are defeated by mantras, secret spells, and medicines. Kausika, out of compassion, I shall here speak a mantra. ག་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། （藏文：ག་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，梵文天城体：ग फट स्वाहा，梵文罗马拟音：ga phaṭ svāhā，汉语字面意思：去 啪 梭哈！） 憍尸迦种姓之子，或种姓之女，国王，或国王的大臣，无论哪一位忆念此黄金咒，都不会有来自他方的怖畏。其部众不会被他方的军队所侵扰。非天，非龙，非夜叉，非罗刹，非乾闼婆，非阿修罗，非迦楼罗，非紧那罗，非明咒持明者，非空行母。不会因非时而死，不会成为死亡的时机。明咒和，秘密咒和，药物都不能侵扰。他方的军队不能侵扰。他方的军队不会成为死亡的时机。身体不会被武器所侵扰。身体不会被火和，水和，毒和，明咒和，明咒和，秘密咒和，药物所侵扰。无论谁造作罪业，或教唆造作，或随喜，都会再次降临到他自己身上。会再次回到他自己那里。憍尸迦，因此，有信心的比丘，或比丘尼，或优婆塞，或优婆夷，或种姓之子，或种姓之女，如果将此明咒向水中念诵七遍，涂抹在自己的身体上，自己的身体就会受到守护。想要完全超越一切怖畏，一切损害，瘟疫，一切传染病，一切明咒，秘密咒，一切药物，一切诅咒，就应当忆念此黄金咒。国王或国王的大臣，想要摧毁他方的军队，想要调伏他方的军队，就应当忆念此黄金咒。念诵七遍，系上打了七个结的线，或者向水中念诵七遍，以此守护自己。将对于一切怖畏都无阻碍的总持写成文字，佩戴在身上。佩戴在颈间。写成文字后，悬挂在旗帜的顶端，进入战场，就能从吉祥和安乐中解脱。凭借此明咒的力量，连同家人和，仆从和，部众一起，就能从吉祥和安乐中度过。尚未成就者也能成就。

ga phaṭ svāhā. (Tibetan: ག་ཕཊ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ग फट स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ga phaṭ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Go Phaṭ Svāhā!) A son of the Kośika lineage, or a daughter of the lineage, a king, or a great minister of the king, whoever remembers this golden mantra, will not have fear from the other side. Their retinue will not be overwhelmed by the armies of the other side. Not by gods, not by nāgas, not by yakṣas, not by rākṣasas, not by gandharvas, not by asuras, not by garuḍas, not by kinnaras, not by mantra holders, not by ḍākinīs. One will not die untimely, it will not become a time of death. Mantras and, secret mantras and, medicines cannot overwhelm. The armies of the other side cannot overwhelm. The armies of the other side will not cause a time of death. The body will not be overwhelmed by weapons. The body will not be overwhelmed by fire and, water and, poison and, mantras and, mantras and, secret mantras and, medicines. Whoever has committed sins, or caused to commit, or rejoiced in it, will return to that very one. It will return to that very one. Kośika, therefore, a faithful monk, or a nun, or a lay devotee, or a laywoman, or a son of the lineage, or a daughter of the lineage, if they recite this mantra seven times into water and apply it to their body, their body will be protected. Desiring to completely transcend all fears, all harms, epidemics, all contagious diseases, all mantras, secret mantras, all medicines, all curses, one should remember this golden mantra. A king or a minister of the king, desiring to destroy the armies of the other side, desiring to subdue the armies of the other side, should remember this golden mantra. Recite seven times and tie a thread with seven knots, or recite seven times into water to protect oneself. Write the dhāraṇī that is unimpeded by all fears in letters and carry it. Wear it around the neck. Having written it in letters, hang it on the top of a banner and enter the battlefield, one will be liberated into virtue and happiness. By the power of this mantra, together with family and, servants and, retinue, one will cross over into virtue and happiness. Those who have not attained will also attain.
