May I, in all the worlds of sentient beings, obtain great power to benefit and bring happiness to all who are poor and afflicted. I prostrate to the venerable Avalokiteśvara, the powerful one, who possesses great compassion. By remembering and reciting the name of the noble Lord of Compassion, may all the many afflicted beings in the world who are suffering from great famines, fires, floods, winds, and other calamities be pacified and cease to exist. I prostrate to the venerable Avalokiteśvara, the powerful one, who possesses great compassion. By remembering and reciting the name of the noble Lord of Compassion, when I and any sentient beings are near the great fear of dying and transmigrating from this world to another, may we see the face of the noble Lord of Compassion directly and receive your great blessing. When I and other sentient beings die and transmigrate, may I not be disturbed by afflictions, may I be mindful of the dharma of no-self, may my bodhicitta be infinitely stable, may my mind not be afraid, may I possess unobstructed confidence, may all feelings of suffering be pacified, and may I die and transmigrate with mindfulness present. In all lifetimes, may I be born at the feet of the noble Avalokiteśvara, and may I remember my past lives and possess a complete bodhicitta, thereby pleasing the noble Lord of Compassion and others, and may I possess the power of accomplishment as taught. May the door of liberation of great compassion be spontaneously accomplished, just as it is for the Lord of Compassion, and may it become one with the compassion of all the Buddhas.
