Then the Yaksha who dwells in the wilderness, Adorned well with pure gold, Beautifully adorned with jewels, Like a blazing fire, Having entered the grove of willows, Having firmly grasped the feet Of the Secret Lord Vajradhara, And having asked with perfect equanimity: "Victorious Lord Gnod-dzin, Lord of all secret mantras, Worshipped by all holders of knowledge-mantras, Worshipped by gods and non-gods, Diligent in subduing the unruly, Possessing the qualities of a Bodhisattva, Protector, accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings, Holding the secrets of all Buddhas, Desiring to benefit sentient beings, With a mind overwhelmed by compassion, For the sake of perfect and complete enlightenment, I too have generated the mind of enlightenment, Seeing that people have little wealth, Little merit and little power, And are greatly tormented By great suffering, O Secret Lord!"
