Homage to the one holding a lotus in hand, the wisdom that arises to truly inspire those who are drowning in the thicket of various sufferings of sentient beings. The supreme secret mantra of the Tathagata, the pinnacle of great compassion arises, the unobstructed, meaningful, and accomplished actions that arise from the mouth of the Tathagata, pacifying all karmic obscurations of the mandala of all sentient beings and the various sufferings of the lower realms, pacifying all that is non-beneficial, inauspicious, bad dreams, bad omens, as well as various diseases and various untimely deaths, utterly destroying the great emptiness, now I shall explain. First, I shall begin by paying homage to the Bhagavan who possesses a body adorned with countless hundreds of thousands of millions of accumulations of merit. Sarva Buddha Dharma Paripurani Svaha. This is the dharani called "The Supreme Great Compassionate Treasury of the Bhagavan." This dharani, which originated from the crown of the Bhagavan, possesses a retinue of countless millions of dharanis. It destroys all sins, karmas, and afflictions. It pacifies all inauspiciousness, bad dreams, evil omens, and untimely deaths. It increases lifespan, merit, beauty, strength, happiness, and courage, and makes one free from illness. It certainly destroys all demonic forces of spirits, forgetfulness, yakshas, rakshasas, garudas, asuras, and non-humans. Merely holding, hearing, and reciting the name of this dharani will purify the karmic obscurations accumulated over hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas. All afflictions will be subdued. All paths to the lower realms will be cut off. It will also be embraced by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. It will also be endowed with the virtues of a Bodhisattva. It will also become a vessel of non-regression. It will not degenerate from great compassion. All sentient beings will be happy to be near it. If recited seven times during the three periods of the day and the three periods of the night, one will be liberated from all sins. One will also obtain countless immeasurable qualities of a Bodhisattva. At dawn, sit comfortably in the lotus position. Form the triangular mudra with the hands, and focus on all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Manifest the great essence of the Tathagata's qualities in your mind, and recite "I prostrate to the Tathagata." After prostrating with your mind, recite it twenty-one times, and all the thoughts you desire in your mind will be completely fulfilled. You will also obtain the fruit of true accomplishment.
