The Noble One Possessed of Wealth Dharani. The Noble One Possessed of Wealth Dharani. In Indian language: Arya Hiranyavati Nama Dharani. In Tibetan language: The Noble One Possessed of Wealth Dharani. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard, at one time, the Blessed One was in Tushita heaven, on a stone slab like white Narava (a kind of white stone), together with countless thousands of Bodhisattvas, all of whom were prophesied to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, attainable in just one lifetime, and were dwelling together with them. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Well-Dwelling: Well-Dwelling, those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas who do not wish to hold this Dharani possessed of wealth, they have not seen the Tathagatas of the past, future, and present. They have not heard. They have not experienced. Whoever thus sees, hears, and experiences the Tathagatas, they obtain the Dharani. What is the reason for that? Thus, Well-Dwelling, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not cling to "I have done meritorious deeds." I do not cling to "I have done non-meritorious deeds, good and non-good." What is the reason for that? Thus, Well-Dwelling, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not cling to holding the Dharani. Does not discriminate. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva who obtains the Dharani does not cling to the dharmas of the past, future, and present as things or characteristics. Does not discriminate at all. It is not a cause. It is not without a cause. It is not going. It is not not going. It is not death and transference. It is not birth. It is not empty. It is not non-empty. It is not a sign. It is not without a sign. It is not a wish. It is not without a wish. It is not birth. It is not cessation. Well-Dwelling, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who acts with this boundary is called dwelling in wisdom. When one dwells in wisdom, it is called Nirvana. When one attains Nirvana, one accepts, fully understands, and holds the Dharani possessed of wealth.

That is, the meaning and words will not be completely exhausted. He is also one who has morality that has not been fully examined, he has true morality and completely pure morality. He is one who has a Dharma that has not been examined, he has a true Dharma and a completely pure Dharma. He does not rely on others and enters his own Dharma. He has done what is especially to be done for the Buddhas. He has entered the ritual of knowledge. Well, in that way, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva does not cling, does not explain, does not liberate. Well, at what time does the Bodhisattva Mahasattva not cling, not hold, not liberate? At that time, the family of the Buddhas, the past, the future, and the present Buddhas, the Bhagavat, obtain the dharani endowed with glory through the names of the vidya-mantras and the basis of the secret mantras of others. Tadyathā. Kuṭi Kuṭi. Kucāla. Elā imirito. Kothālā. Ire ri. Imiriṇi. Well, these are the other names of the vidya-mantras of the past Buddhas, the Bhagavat. The other names of the vidya-mantras of the future and present Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Well, this dharani endowed with glory is the mother of the past, future, and present Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Why is that? Because it does not abide in the past meaning, nor in the future and present meaning. Well, whoever, whatever Bodhisattva Mahasattva holds this dharani endowed with glory, has made offerings and reverence to countless Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Countless Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have proclaimed and understood it. Countless Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have prophesied it to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Well, whoever holds this dharani endowed with glory, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva should think, "I have pleased, revered, and made offerings to countless Buddhas, the Bhagavat, such as this. I have generated countless merits." He should know it. Whoever, with whatever thought...
