Think of the three doors as body, speech, and mind. This is the vow to be protected. All afflictions, six poisons, grasping and being grasped, are liberated in self-awareness without arising. This is the great vow of liberation. The meaning of the vow is the vow itself. During six times, two times, and years, those with vows should protect the vow. For the sake of accomplishing siddhis, always protect it, without allowing even a moment's lapse. From the faults of one's own body, if faults of others' bodies arise, this is said to be a fault of the body. From the faults of one's own body, if faults of others' speech arise, it is the decay of my body, and for others, it turns into the decay of speech. Others should also be known by the wise. From the root faults arising in oneself, if branch faults arise in others, and from goodness, faults arise, etc., it should be known from the guru's mouth, and strive to protect the vow. Upon the meanings of that vow, the retinue became frightened and fearful, and Vajravarahi again asked: The meanings of this vow are profound and vast, difficult to fathom. Please, protector, accept it. The Bhagavan declared: Nectar eaten in the mouth should not be thrown away again. Filthy vomit thrown out should not be eaten again. If you taste the nectar of self-aware bodhi, where will you seek the causes and effects of wrong thoughts and confusion? Therefore, make the vow alone the most important. At that time, all the assembled retinue rejoiced in the meaning of the tantra. The King of Tantras, the Vows of the Dakini, is complete. Translated by the Indian Abbot Gayadhara and the translator Bhikshu Shakya Yeshe. The glorious King of Tantras, called the Vows of the Dakini.
