Offerings are made with fire, bestowing near pacification, and fire offerings are performed to burn away conceptual thoughts. With the fire of one's own wisdom, the firewood of conceptual thoughts is to be burned. This is the true fire offering. Are sesame seeds, etc., definitely considered sinful? Is the fire of karma itself wisdom? After burning, is it certain that it will be completely consumed? The object of burning is conceptual thought, and the fire that burns is not accessible to the senses. Therefore, for the fire of karma, even if the act of burning sesame seeds, etc., is performed, it will certainly not burn away sins. Offerings and the like are also the same; they can only be determined as a representation. Tantra is not the ultimate meaning. Realizing the ultimate meaning does not require representation. Ladles, pouring vessels, etc., should be learned from the guru. Then, the secret fire offering: the hearth is the navel chakra or the tip of the nose. Determine the place of attachment and liberation, and the nature and secrecy of it. Kindle the fire of tummo wisdom. With the left and right ladles and pouring vessels, burn the subtle conceptual thoughts, the objects of burning, such as seminal fluids, channels, and winds. Offerings are made to the deity of bliss fire. The order of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and wrathful activities, as well as the fourth initiation, should be learned from the guru. Then, the classification of mantras: the outer mantra is Om(ཨོཾ,oṃ,Om,perfection), Ah(ཨཱཿ,āḥ,Ah,generation), Hum(ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,Hum,subjugation). Internally, it is the nature of nectar. Secretly, the supreme measure resides in the center. Ultimately, it is self-awareness free from extremes. Incense and the like are outer offerings, while nectar and the like are inner offerings. Secretly, offerings are made with the taste of bliss. Ultimately, offerings are made with the taste of emptiness. Rice and the like are outer tormas, pacifying inferior obstacles and the like. In the skull cup of Avadhuti(ཨ་བ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི,Avadhūti,Avadhuti, the renouncer), flesh and the like abide in the nature of nectar. Pacify the great obstacles of conceptual thought. With the taste of the nectar of great bliss, pacify the subtle great demons. This is said to be the secret torma. With the taste of the nectar of self-aware emptiness, pacify the demons of great bliss. This is determined to be the fourth torma. Prostrations, circumambulations, and the like, as well as mantras and the like, should be learned from the guru. Therefore, fire offerings bestow supreme accomplishments, and fire offerings are performed to burn away conceptual thoughts. Burning wood and the like is not a fire offering. Offerings are made with the meaning of pleasing. Offering incense and the like does not please them. Taming one's own mind and making it workable, making offerings with pleasure is a great offering, pacifying evil spirits and harm, pacifying obstacles and accomplishments.

Therefore, it is a Torma. Using external Tormas such as rice, It cannot pacify ghosts, etc. One's own body, speech, and mind's conceptual thoughts, Appear as ghosts, etc. If the deluded conceptual thoughts are not abandoned, Ghosts, etc., cannot be pacified. The Torma of the mind that destroys the conceptual thoughts of body, speech, and mind, is the supreme of Tormas. Pacifying ghosts and harms, Restoring vows and obstructing the gods, All accomplishments will arise. External and internal Tormas are definite. The tantras are brought to near tranquility, Because it arises from the body, it is a deity, The external mandala is not a deity, The body and limbs are not deities, The mouth, eyes, etc., are not deities, Because they do not arise from the body, they are scattered. Prevent the scattering of the senses, body, speech, and mind. One's own body arises from oneself, Because body, speech, and mind are pacified, it is called a deity. Because it protects the mind, it is a mantra, Because it makes one's own mind capable, And protects from conceptual thoughts, ghosts, etc., This is declared as the king of mantras. Furthermore, with the desire for accomplishments, Everything is received from the Guru's mouth. With the entrustment of this tantra, be earnest. At that time, all the assembled retinue rejoiced in the meaning of the tantra. The glorious Secret Nectar Tantra King is complete. Translated by the Indian Abbot Gaya Bhara and the translator Bhikshu Shakya Yeshe.
