མ་ལ་ལུས་གྲངས་མེད་པ་ཞིག་བཏང་ཡང་། ལུས་ཀྱི་བསོད་ནམས་སུ་འགྱུར་བའི་ལས་མ་བྱས་ཏེ། ལུས་ཀྱི་པགས་པ་འདིས་དེ་དག་གི་སྲོག་སྐྱོབ་བོ་ཞེས་སྨྲས་ནས། རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་བའི་སེམས་སྐྱེས་ཏེ། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་ཁོ་བོ་སྲོག་མ་བཅད་པར་པགས་པ་བཤུས་ཏེ་ཁྱེར་ཅིག།འགྱོད་པའི་སེམས་མེད་པར་ཁྱོད་ལ་སྦྱིན་ནོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་རྔོན་པ་དེས་པགས་པ་དལ་གྱིས་བཤུས་ནས་ཀུན་ཏས་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །བདག་གིས་པགས་པ་བཤུས་ལ་བྱིན་ཏེ། མི་མང་པོ་ཕངས་པའི་སྲོག་བསྐྱབས་པའི་བསོད་ནམས་འདི་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་བསྔོས་ཏེ། བདག་བླ་ན་མེད་པའི་བྱང་ཆུབ་ཏུ་མངོན་པར་རྫོགས་པར་འཚང་རྒྱ་ཞིང་སེམས་ཅན་ཐམས་ཅད་འཁོར་བའི་སྡུག་བསྔལ་ལས་བསྒྲལ་ནས། མྱ་ངན་ལས་འདས་པའི་བདེ་བ་ལ་འགོད་པར་ཤོག་ཤིག་ཅེས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་བོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་ན་སྟོང་གསུམ་གྱི་སྟོང་ཆེན་པོའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་གྱི་ཁམས་རྣམ་པ་དྲུག་ཏུ་གཡོས་ཏེ། ལྷའི་ཕོ་བྲང་ཀུན་ལྟེག་ཅིང་གཡོས་ནས་ལྷ་རྣམས་དངངས་ཏེ་བལྟས་ན། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔས་ལུས་ཀྱི་པགས་པ་སྦྱིན་པར་བྱས་པ་མཐོང་ནས། ནམ་མཁའ་ལས་བབས་ཏེ་ཀུན་ཏ་ག་ལ་བ་དེར་ལྷགས་ནས་ལྷ་རྫས་ཀྱི་མེ་ཏོག་གིས་གཏོར་ཏེ་མཆོད་པ་བྱས་ནས་མཆི་མ་ཆར་བཞིན་དུ་བབ་བོ། །པགས་པ་བཤུས་ནས་སོང་བའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཤ་རློན་པ་དེ་ལ་ཁྲག་ཀུན་ནས་ཟག་ཅིང་། སྦྲང་མ་དང་གྲོག་མ་ལ་སོགས་པ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་རྙེད་དེའི་ལུས་ལ་འདུས་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་དེ་ལ་ཟ་ཞིང་དེ་དག་བྲོས་སུ་དོགས་པས། ལུས་ཀྱང་མི་འགུལ་ཏེ་ལུས་ཀྱི་སྦྱིན་པ་བྱས་ནས་དེ་ཉིད་དུ་ཚེའི་དུས་བྱས་སོ། །སྦྲང་མ་དང་སྲིན་བུ་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཤ་ལ་ཟོས་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ཚེ་འཕོས་ནས་ཐམས་ཅད་མཐོ་རིས་ཀྱི་ལྷར་སྐྱེས་སོ། །དེའི་ཚེ་རྔོན་པ་དེས་པགས་པ་དེ་ཁྱེར་ཏེ། རྒྱལ་པོ་ལ་ཕུལ་ནས། རྒྱལ་པོ་རབ་ཏུ་དགའ་སྟེ། འདི་ལྟ་བུ་ཤིན་ཏུ་འཇམ་པའི་ཟླ་མེད་དོ་ཞེས་རྟག་ཏུ་ཉལ་བའི་སྟན་དུ་བཏིང་ནས་དེ་ལ་ཉལ་ལོ། །ཀུན་དགའ་བོ་དེ་ལྟར་རིག་པར་གྱིས་ཤིག།དེའི་ཚེ་དེའི་དུས་ན། གཅན་གཟན་ཀུན་ཏ་དེ་ནི་ད་ལྟར་ང་ཡིན་ནོ། །རྒྱལ་པོ་ ཚངས་སྦྱིན་དེ་ནི་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་ཡིན་ནོ། །སྲིན་བུ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་དེ་ནི་ང་ཐོག་མར་མངོན་པར་སངས་རྒྱས་ཏེ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་འཁོར་ལོ་བསྐོར་བ་ན་འབྲས་བུ་ཐོབ་པའི་ལྷའི་སྲས་པོ་སྟོང་ཕྲག་བརྒྱད་ཅུ་པོ་ཡིན་ཏེ། ལྷ་སྦྱིན་གྱིས་དེའི་ཚེ་ན་ཡང་ང་བསད་དེ་ད་ལྟར་གྱི་བར་དུ་ང་ལ་སྡིག་པའི་སེམས་ཀྱིས་གསོད་པར་སེམས་སོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་སྐད་ཅེས

即使布施了无数的身体，也没有做能使身体转为福德的事。说完“用这身体的皮来救护它们吧”，生起极大的欢喜心，说道：“你不要杀我，剥了皮拿去吧，我毫无后悔地布施给你。”当时，猎人慢慢地剥下皮，昆达这样发愿道：“我剥皮布施，救护了众多生命的福德，全部回向给一切有情，愿我现证无上菩提，救度一切有情脱离轮回的痛苦，安置于涅槃的安乐之中。”当时，三千大千世界六种震动，诸天宫殿摇晃倾斜，诸天惊慌观看，见到菩萨布施身体的皮，从空中降下，来到昆达嘎拉瓦那里，用天物鲜花散布供养，眼泪如雨般落下。剥皮之后，裸露的血淋淋的肉上，蜜蜂和蚂蚁等八万虫类聚集在它的身体上，全部啃食它，因为害怕它们逃走，身体也不动，行了身体的布施，就在那里结束了生命。蜜蜂和虫子吃了菩萨的肉之后，也都命终，全部转生到天界成了天人。当时，猎人拿着那张皮，献给了国王。国王非常高兴，说“像这样非常柔软的无与伦比的皮”，经常铺在睡觉的垫子上，睡在上面。阿难陀，就这样理解吧！当时，那时的猛兽昆达就是现在的我。国王净施就是提婆达多。八万虫子就是我最初现证成佛，转法轮时获得果位的八万天子。提婆达多那时也杀了我，直到现在还想着以嗔恨心杀我。世尊如是说。

Even though countless bodies have been given away, no deeds have been done to transform the body into merit. Saying, "Let this body's skin save them," he generated great joy and said, "Do not kill me, but peel off my skin and take it. I give it to you without any regret." At that time, the hunter slowly peeled off the skin, and Kunda made this aspiration: "May the merit of saving the lives of many beings by giving away my skin be dedicated to all sentient beings. May I realize the unsurpassed Bodhi, liberate all sentient beings from the suffering of samsara, and establish them in the bliss of Nirvana." At that time, the three thousand great thousand worlds shook in six ways. All the palaces of the gods shook and tilted, and the gods, in panic, looked and saw the Bodhisattva giving away the skin of his body. They descended from the sky, arrived at Kunda Galava, scattered divine flowers as offerings, and tears fell like rain. After the skin was peeled off, blood dripped from the raw flesh, and eighty thousand insects, such as bees and ants, gathered on his body and devoured it all. Fearing that they would flee, he did not move his body, made the gift of his body, and passed away there. The bees and insects that ate the flesh of the Bodhisattva also died and were all reborn in the heavenly realm as gods. At that time, the hunter took the skin and offered it to the king. The king was very pleased and said, "Such an extremely soft and incomparable skin!" He always spread it on his sleeping mat and slept on it. Ananda, understand it in this way! At that time, the wild animal Kunda was me now. King Pure Giving was Devadatta. The eighty thousand insects were the eighty thousand sons of gods who attained the fruit when I first manifested enlightenment and turned the wheel of Dharma. Devadatta killed me at that time as well, and even now he intends to kill me with hatred. The Blessed One spoke thus.

说完之后，具寿阿难陀和众多眷属对善法生起向往之心，有些人获得了入流果，有些人获得了一来果，有些人获得了不来果，有些人获得了阿罗汉果。有些人种下了独觉佛的善根，有些人发起了无上菩提心，安住于不退转地。他们随喜赞叹世尊所说，感到非常欢喜。猛兽一切施舍身体品，第十四品完毕。 第十四品，猛兽一切施舍身体品。

After speaking, the venerable Ānanda and the many attendants developed a desire for the virtuous Dharma. Some attained the fruit of stream-entry, some the fruit of once-returning, some the fruit of non-returning, and some attained the fruit of an Arhat. Some planted the roots of virtue for a Pratyekabuddha, and some generated the mind of unsurpassed Bodhi and remained on the irreversible ground.
