在轮回中流转，无数次地浪费了身体和生命。 有时为了贪欲，有时为了嗔恨，有时为了愚痴，即使舍弃身体，也是为了佛法，是功德的田地。心想，这难得一遇的身体，无论如何也要做些有意义的事。于是三人一同前行，没走多久，弟弟对两位哥哥说道：两位哥哥先走吧，我有点私事要处理，随后就来。说完，他就沿着那条路，迅速地找到了母老虎的巢穴，躺在了母老虎身边。母老虎因为口渴，无法吃他。这时，王子用锋利的树枝划破身体，让母老虎舔舐鲜血。母老虎张开了嘴，将他身上的肉全部吃光。两位哥哥等了很久，弟弟都没有回来。于是他们沿着原路返回寻找，心想，根据他之前说的话，肯定是被饥饿的母老虎吃掉了。于是他们来到那里，看到最小的弟弟已经被老虎吃掉了，肉和血涂满了全身，像一堆垃圾一样。他们倒在地上，昏了过去。过了很久，才缓过气来，开始哀嚎，在地上打滚，悲痛欲绝。这时，王后在睡梦中梦见三只鸽子在空中飞舞嬉戏，其中最小的一只被老鹰抓走了。她立刻从梦中惊醒，惊恐地告诉了国王：我听说鸽子是王子的魂魄，最小的鸽子被老鹰抓走，一定预示着我最疼爱的儿子要遭遇不幸。于是立刻派人四处寻找。没过多久，两位王子回来了。王后问道：你们最小的弟弟没事吧？发生什么事了？两位哥哥哽咽着说不出话来，过了很久才缓过气来，说：他被老虎吃掉了。王后听到这话，悲痛欲绝，倒在地上，过了很久才缓过气来。她带着两个儿子、妃嫔和整个王宫的侍从，迅速地赶往王子献身的地方。这时，母老虎已经吃光了王子的肉。

Wandering in samsara, countless times wasting body and life. Sometimes for greed, sometimes for hatred, sometimes for ignorance, even sacrificing the body, it is for the Dharma, a field of merit. Thinking, this rare body, no matter what, must do something meaningful. So the three went together, and before long, the younger brother said to the two elder brothers: You two go ahead, I have some private matters to deal with, and I will come later. After saying that, he followed that road and quickly found the tigress's den, and lay down beside the tigress. The tigress could not eat him because of thirst. At this time, the prince used sharp branches to cut his body and let the tigress lick the blood. The tigress opened her mouth and ate all the flesh on his body. The two elder brothers waited for a long time, but the younger brother did not return. So they returned along the original road to look for him, thinking, according to what he said before, he must have been eaten by the hungry tigress. So they went there and saw that the youngest brother had been eaten by the tiger, and his flesh and blood were all over his body, like a pile of garbage. They fell to the ground and fainted. After a long time, they came back to their senses and began to wail, rolling on the ground, heartbroken. At this time, the queen dreamed in her sleep that three pigeons were flying and playing in the air, and the smallest one was caught by a hawk. She immediately woke up from the dream, and told the king in horror: I heard that the pigeon is the prince's soul, and the smallest pigeon being caught by a hawk must indicate that my most beloved son will encounter misfortune. So she immediately sent people to look around. Before long, the two princes returned. The queen asked: Is your youngest brother okay? What happened? The two elder brothers choked and could not speak, and after a long time they came back to their senses and said: He was eaten by a tiger. When the queen heard this, she was heartbroken and fell to the ground, and after a long time she came back to her senses. She took her two sons, concubines, and all the attendants of the palace, and quickly rushed to the place where the prince had sacrificed himself. At this time, the tigress had eaten all the prince's flesh.

吃完之后，只剩下骨头和血，像垃圾一样散落在地上，他们看到了。 僧尼抓住了头，国王抓住了手，哭喊着，在那里也昏迷了很久，然后才醒过来。 王子大菩萨在那里去世后，转生到了兜率天。 他心想：我到底做了什么才转生到这里？ 于是用天眼观察五道轮回，看到他转世后的骨头在树林里，父母围绕着，非常伤心，因悲伤的痛苦而哭喊。 天人看到后心想：我的父母如果因为这样不高兴，可能会有身体和生命的危险。 我应该去让他们高兴，和他们说话。 于是从天空降下，从上面的天空用各种美妙的语言让父母高兴。 父母抬头看着天空，说：天神，您是谁？请告诉我。 天神说：我就是王子大菩萨，因为我把身体喂了饥饿的母老虎，所以转生到了兜率天的天界。 伟大的国王，请您这样了解。 任何有为法最终都会坏灭。 有生必有死。 作恶的众生会堕入地狱。 行善的会转生到天界。 如果生和死都存在，为什么只为了快乐而不知不觉地堕入悲伤的海洋呢？ 要努力行善。 他的父母说：您以大慈悲心喂养了母老虎，对一切众生都充满了爱。 您抛弃了我们，结束了生命。 现在我们因为思念您，痛苦得像肉被一块块割下来一样。 行大慈悲的您，这样做合适吗？ 然后，那位天人又用各种美妙的语言安慰他们，让他们高兴，他的父母也稍微高兴了一些，用七宝做了一个盒子，把骨头放进去埋起来，上面建了一个佛塔。 天人也回到了自己的住所。 国王啊。

After it was eaten, only bones and blood remained, scattered on the ground like trash, they saw. The nun grabbed her head, and the king grabbed his hands, wailing and crying, and there they fainted for a long time before regaining consciousness. That great being, the prince, passed away there and was born in the Tushita heaven. He thought, "What did I do to be born here?" Then, with his divine eye, he looked throughout the five realms and saw his bones, from his previous life, were in a grove, surrounded by his parents, who were deeply saddened, suffering from the pain of grief and wailing. The deity thought, "If my parents are so unhappy, it might endanger their bodies and lives. I should go and cheer them up and speak to them." So, he descended from the sky and, from the sky above, cheered up his parents with various beautiful words. The parents looked up at the sky and said, "Deity, who are you? Please tell us." The deity said, "I am the prince, the great being, who, by feeding my body to the hungry tigress, was born in the heavenly realm of Tushita. Great king, please understand this. Whatever is conditioned will eventually perish. If there is birth, there is certainly death. If one commits evil, beings will fall into hell. If one does good, one will be born in heaven. If birth and death exist for all, why, for the sake of mere pleasure, do you unknowingly fall into the ocean of sorrow? Strive in virtuous deeds." Then his parents said, "You fed the tigress with great compassion and are full of love for all beings. You abandoned us and ended your life. Now, because we miss you, we are tormented by suffering as if our flesh were being cut off piece by piece. Is it fitting for you, who practice great compassion, to do this?" Then, that deity again comforted them with various beautiful words, cheering them up, and his parents were somewhat cheered up. They made a casket of seven precious jewels, placed the bones inside, buried it, and built a stupa on top. The deity also returned to his abode. O King.

The middle son, Great God, was Vāmisutra! The youngest prince, Great-hearted Being, at that time, do not think of him as anyone else! It is me now! The tiger cubs at that time were these two people! I had previously freed them from obstacles for a long time, saved their lives, and made them happy. Now, having attained perfect enlightenment, I have also freed them from obstacles and completely liberated them from the great suffering of samsara!
