The king also released them according to the Blessed One's command. They remembered the kindness of the Blessed One and felt great joy. They went to where the Blessed One was, and after arriving, they prostrated at his feet with their heads, folded their hands, and said to the Blessed One, 'Blessed One, by your great kindness, our remaining lives have been spared. Lord of the gods, please be compassionate and allow us to be ordained.' The Blessed One said, 'Welcome.' Their hair and beards fell out naturally, and their clothes turned into monastic robes. They developed a very pure and steadfast mind. The Blessed One taught them the Dharma accordingly, and they exhausted their defilements and became Arhats.
