以及观看，会使不好的名声到处传播，会使智慧衰弱，已得到的受用会变得无法得到，已得到的受用会完全耗尽并完全消失，会变得无法保守秘密，那样的业的边际会完全衰减，会使威力变得弱小，会变得不被认为是母亲，会变得不被认为是父亲，会变得不被认为是出家人，会变得不被认为是婆罗门，会对种姓的首领变得没有侍奉恭敬，会对佛陀变得不恭敬，会对法变得不恭敬，会对僧团变得不恭敬，会对正确受持的学处变得不恭敬，会使戒律变得破损，会使根门不被守护，会放纵地极其追求女人，会被亲戚和姻亲的亲属关系、朋友和大臣们抛弃，会变得不被很多人喜欢，会变得与很多人不和睦，会行持不如法之事，会完全执持不如法之事，会完全抛弃圣法，会完全抛弃羞耻和惭愧，即使与不友善的人同住，也不会想到去请教智者们，会放纵地行持恶行，不会安住于如来所说的经典，会远离涅槃，由于造作和积累了会变成疯癫的业，身体坏灭死后会堕入恶趣恶道，生于有情地狱中。如果从那里死去，转生到这里与人们共享福报，那么无论他生在哪里，都会变得疯癫，记忆变得不清晰。因此，要知道欢喜谷物酒和调制酒是放逸之处的三十五种过患。世尊如此说道，善逝如此宣说后，导师又如此说道：断除杀生、殴打和束缚，利益有情，心怀慈悲。

and looking, it causes bad reputation to spread everywhere, it weakens wisdom, the benefits already obtained will become unobtainable, the benefits already obtained will be completely exhausted and completely disappear, it will become impossible to keep secrets, the edge of that karma will completely diminish, it will make power weak, it will become not considered a mother, it will become not considered a father, it will become not considered a renunciant, it will become not considered a Brahmin, there will be no service and respect for the head of the lineage, there will be no respect for the Buddha, there will be no respect for the Dharma, there will be no respect for the Sangha, there will be no respect for the precepts taken correctly, it will cause the discipline to be broken, it will cause the doors of the senses to be unguarded, one will indulgently and extremely pursue women, one will be abandoned by relatives and in-laws, friends and ministers, one will become disliked by many people, one will become incompatible with many people, one will engage in unrighteous deeds, one will completely cling to unrighteous deeds, one will completely abandon the sacred Dharma, one will completely abandon shame and embarrassment, even if one lives with unfriendly people, one will not think of consulting the wise, one will indulgently engage in evil deeds, one will not abide in the scriptures spoken by the Tathagata, one will be far from Nirvana, due to creating and accumulating the karma that will lead to madness, after the body is destroyed and dies, one will fall into evil destinies and evil paths, and be born in sentient hells. If one dies from there and is reborn here to share the blessings with people, then wherever one is born, one will become mad and one's memory will become unclear. Therefore, know that the joy of grain wine and mixed wine are the thirty-five faults of the place of indulgence. The Blessed One said so, the Sugata declared so, and then the Teacher said again: Abandon killing, beating, and binding, benefit sentient beings, and have compassion.

啊！如同我爱惜自己的生命一样，也要同样守护其他众生的性命。他人用诸多痛苦积攒的财物，未经允许，连想都不要想。要远离世俗的享乐，也要同样利益他人。要像躲避燃烧的火焰一样，远离装饰华丽的他人之妻，满足于自己的妻子。不要享用如同毒药般的欲望。为了自己和他人的利益，任何人都不应明知故犯地说谎。不要伤害他人，不要使他人痛苦，要慎重考虑，用温和的语言说话。沉溺于饮酒的人，不能利益自己，也不能使他人快乐。酒使人愚昧、面容丑陋，如同哈拉毒药一样，不要饮用。不杀害众生，不偷盗他人的财物，不说谎，也不饮酒，不贪恋他人的妻子，这样就能像进入自己想去的天堂一样。身穿白衣的在家居士们，这就是居家者的戒律。胜者（佛陀）已经为出家者们，详细阐述了修学的法。之后，居士喜悦者听闻了世尊的这个法门，感到高兴、满足和欢喜。生起了极大的喜悦、快乐和心悦诚服，于是从座位上站起来，用头顶礼世尊的足，向世尊绕行三圈，对世尊的教诲感到非常高兴和随喜，然后从世尊面前离去。世尊如此开示之后，众比丘心生欢喜，对世尊的教诲表示赞叹。《圣喜悦者经》圆满结束。

Ah! Just as I cherish my own life, so too shall I protect the lives of other beings. The wealth of others, accumulated through much suffering, without permission, do not even think about it. One should turn away from worldly pleasures, and likewise benefit others. One should completely avoid another's wife adorned with ornaments, like avoiding a burning flame, and be content with one's own wife. Do not indulge in desires that are like poison. For the sake of one's own benefit and the benefit of others, no one should knowingly speak falsehoods. Do not harm others, do not cause others pain, but consider carefully and speak with gentle words. A person who is overly fond of drinking alcohol cannot benefit himself or bring happiness to others. Alcohol causes ignorance and ugliness, like the poison of Hala, do not drink it. Do not kill living beings, do not steal the wealth of others, do not lie, do not drink alcohol, and do not desire another's wife, in this way, one can enter whatever heaven one wishes. For lay practitioners wearing white clothes, this is the discipline for householders. The Victorious One (Buddha) has thoroughly explained the teachings for those who are ordained. Then, the layperson Joyful One, having heard this Dharma discourse from the Bhagavan, was delighted, satisfied, and rejoiced. Having generated great joy, happiness, and contentment, he arose from his seat, bowed his head to the feet of the Bhagavan, circumambulated the Bhagavan three times, and, being overjoyed and pleased with the Bhagavan's teachings, departed from the presence of the Bhagavan. When the Bhagavan had spoken thus, the monks rejoiced and praised the words of the Bhagavan. The Noble Joyful One Sutra is complete.
