Even if not, strive to do the Ose (Tibetan: འོ་སེ་) matters. When the king strives in all ways, without these, it cannot be done. Made from immeasurable bad wood, that when struck, no sound arises, if this Buddha-mother is struck, harm to the country will certainly occur. In the monastery, the monks, likewise, their minds disagree, and near suffering will arise, and in various ways, disputes will occur. The power of heretics will increase, and demons will also appear. Many harmful Nagas, will also cause the grains to diminish. In this kingdom, many sentient beings, will become the nature of destruction. The monastery will also be destroyed, and the Dharma will also decline. The gods of demons, will make the Sangha of monks very discordant. Having thus truly known, do it well, having fully observed. The size is small, eight fingers, eighty-four in nature should be made, the width should be six fingers, and the height should also be two fingers. With the measure of the joints of the fingers, the measure at the four corners is two parts. The nature of being well-leveled is very clear, the two tips are like the head of a frog. Then, the thing that strikes, should also be cut from that same wood. The size of twelve fingers, round and with two tips, like the head of a mongoose. The size of the lees is also the same, very soft and with even edges. Why is that struck, think of others, below also make its seat. Above the door of the monastery, or also above the center, make it. The consecration of it is, the very stable Dharmakaya. Not a creator, not a destroyer, the primordially unborn is virtuous. Having thus consecrated it, that is the one who has opened the eyes. Having opened the eyes of the Ghaṇṭā (Tibetan: གཎ་ཌཱི), thereafter in all the monasteries. As adorned by the seven Nagas, strike in the order of arising. Thereafter, to the Three Jewels, having prostrated, strike. By reciting Shangtsa (Tibetan: ཤང་རྩ) three times, strike the Dharma drums and so on. Likewise, bathe with flowers, at meal times, sunrise and sunset. Three times at the three times, at the time of bathing, praise twice. Sudden harm, no rain falls, likewise, fighting and disputes, lightning and great harm.
