念诵圆满正等觉佛陀的名号，若于夜晚或清晨努力从事世间事务，则只会增长而不会减少。舍利子，无论是种姓之子还是种姓之女，若有人对大乘法门深信不疑，听闻如来、阿罗汉、圆满正等觉佛陀的名号后，受持、读诵、通达，进而实践，并广为他人宣说，那么从现在起，直至证得菩提之前，他将永不失去神通，永不失去总持，永不残缺，永不失去名声，永不失去极其广大的智慧，永不与佛、菩萨、独觉、声闻分离。从现在起，直至证得菩提之前，他将永不失去圆满且极其广大的智慧。世尊如是宣说，善逝如是说后，导师又如是宣说： 守护世间的怙主们， 谁能受持彼等之名？ 彼将遣除一切恶趣后， 不久便能往生善趣。 将令圆满正觉佛欢喜， 彼之心将变得清净。 将能恒时得见世间怙主， 并将行持殊胜之供养。 谁能受持此等名号， 于无数百千俱胝劫中， 彼将获得集聚之门， 彼将恒时受到恭敬。 谁能受持此等名号， 于无数百千俱胝劫中， 诸天将恒时作供养， 迅速证得圆满菩提果。 谁能受持此等名号， 彼将永不愚痴、 痴呆或聋哑， 将能处处得见诸佛。 受持诸佛之名者， 天、龙、夜叉与紧那罗， 秘密天与非天之众， 将于日夜之中作守护。 谁能受持此等名号， 彼将具足圆满之相好， 将生于富裕之家， 彼将成为布施之主。 受持能仁之名号， 于百千俱胝

Reciting the names of the perfectly complete Buddhas, if one strives in worldly affairs in the night or morning, it will only increase and not decrease. Shariputra, whether it be a son or daughter of good family, if someone has complete faith in the Great Vehicle, and after hearing the names of the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, takes, holds, reads, and fully understands them, then practices them, and widely and correctly reveals them to others, from this point until enlightenment, they will never be separated from clairvoyance, never be separated from dharani, never be incomplete in their faculties, never be separated from fame, never be separated from extremely vast wisdom, and never be separated from Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Shravakas. From this point until enlightenment, they will never be separated from perfect and extremely vast wisdom. The Blessed One spoke thus, and after the Sugata spoke thus, the Teacher spoke thus again: Those protectors of the world, Whoever holds their names, They will avert all the bad destinies, And soon go to the good destinies. They will please the perfectly complete Buddhas, Their minds will become clear. They will always see the protectors of the world, And will make supreme offerings. Whoever holds these names, In countless hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, They will find the door of gathering, They will always be revered. Whoever holds these names, In countless hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, The gods will always make offerings, They will quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Whoever holds these names, They will never be foolish, dull-witted, or deaf, They will see Buddhas everywhere. Those who hold the names of the Buddhas, Gods, nagas, yakshas, kinnaras, Secret gods and asuras, Will protect them day and night. Whoever holds these names, They will have perfect physical marks, They will be born into wealthy families, They will become lords of generosity. In hundreds of thousands of places, from his mouth will come forth an odor, a fragrant and pleasant scent will arise. Those who hold the names of the Buddhas, possessing great miraculous powers and a gentle mind, will be born in a precious lotus with a hundred thousand petals. Those who hold these names, their fathers, mothers, relatives, and siblings will be delighted, and they will never see poverty. Even a woman with intelligence, upon hearing these names, will become weary of the female body and will be born as a wise and virtuous man. For the benefit of all sentient beings, they will quickly attain enlightenment and Buddhahood, becoming the refuge and protector of the world, including gods. Weapons cannot harm him, poison cannot harm him, nor can fire. The deceitful, thieves, and even kings cannot harm him. Those who hold the names of the Buddhas, the evil-minded demons, along with their black retinue and mounts, will not find an opportunity to harm him. In countless Buddha-fields, he will travel through the sky, and in that perfect field, he will behold the protectors of the world. Having seen the steadfast Buddhas, he will gain unwavering faith. Knowing his thoughts, the supreme among men will bestow predictions. Having personally heard the prediction of enlightenment from the Buddhas, he will always be joyful and free from doubt. Any wise person who hears these names and holds them firmly in mind will attain these qualities and other vast merits as well. Having heard the names of the great Buddhas and sages, anyone who holds these names will possess great miraculous powers, wisdom, and the desire for merit. Therefore, great beings, upon hearing these names, the wise should uphold them and proclaim them to others. After the Blessed One spoke thus, the venerable Shariputra and those monks, as well as those Bodhisattvas, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised the words of the Blessed One.
